Yes, Aastha is one of my favourite characters too and she isn't perfect like most iTV mothers. She has her flaws which make her more real

Loved her in Naamkaran, she was brilliant. 👍🏼 but she had put on so much of weight towards the end(which looked like an after effect of neglecting her health to me) and then the constant drama of her personal life with her then boyfriend was becoming nuisance, anyhow, glad to see her back

and she is looking beautiful as always

I agree with the weight gain and personal life issues. I think she was upset after her breakup and her BF also apparently took care of her in terms of working out together etc..anyway let's not talk about her personal life anymore and celebrate her return after 2 something years

lol Aapki nazroon ne is a shit-show now. I had watched the OG bengali version on star jalsha and it was decent (had it's weird illogical tracks but overall not bad) but this hindi version is completely nuts. Hoping Aditi's character brings some positivity. The OG version of her character on star jalsha had a happy ending I think (the show is still on but I stopped keeping track)

also, I'm so tired of all these hindi remakes of star jalsha shows. At least my mom and I have watched/know the storyline of all of these shows so I only pick ones I know might end well lol

ikr? where's the creativity of sp team? but yeah, star jalsa seems to be very creative, with all these popular concepts originating there. i heard anupama is also bengali show's remake, right?

ikr? Avneil were the best and I also started watching after their story started. Avni's parents story was a snoozefest

yeah Anupama is a remake too. Here is a of current SP shows that are remake from SJ:

• Anupama from Shrimoyee
• SAAKK from Mohor
• Apki nazroon ne from Shanjher Baati
• Imlie from Kushum Dola
• Saathiya 2 from Ke Apon Ke Por
• Pandya Store from Bhaggyalakkhi

and in the past, Kulfi and Sasuraal Genda Phool were also remakes. For those, two OG were way better, especially Sasuraal Genda Phool. I absolutely loved the OG show for that and it was my first ever SJ show too

hahahah nooo these shows mostly suck in SJ but SP somehow modernizes it a bit with their high budget and slightly tweaks the stories to make them more palatable

lol @avni's parents romance. i loved sayantani's character, and is she gorgeous

and avni's grandmother was so evil ya 😡 i felt her unrealstically evil, itna kaun hota hai, that too at such an old age

anyhow, wow, thats a long list of copied shows SP has 😲 pandya store too?

wait a sec, SGP was not original concept of SP? i thought it was their original conept. the shows during 2010-2012 times were all so amazing and had brilliant concepts that i never thought they were borrowed. now dont tell me even diya aur bati hum was copied 😔

kulfi kumar was ok at beginning but amyra and her mother were too evil, OTT most times. and i hated how they made a child actor do all that stuff. I dont know how that actor's parents allowed it. it affects the mindset you know.

hmm so SP does naya packet old content?🤔 i wish they made more shows like SGP, DABH, Ek hazaron me meri behena hain, YRKKH-season1 (initial 2 years when they showed beautiful journey of arrange marriage)

yes SGP was a remake that’s why I didn’t watch it as much because I was obsessed with the OG version and didn’t like Hindi suhana and ishaan. OG ishaan was my fav and badima was just the best

Lol DABH and TSMSP (rhea’s last show) were actually remade in Bengali a few years ago so I think they were SP originals

Completely agree about Kulfi showing little girls as evil. That was so unnecessary. You know the actress who played Bengali Amayra was a terrific actress and she made everyone hate her character so much. In fact, she was cast in another SJ show as an evil little girl🤦🏻‍♀️ I feel really bad for the actress..she’s still a child

Hmm SP’S creativity has gone for a toss. All those shows you mentioned were gems compared to the current shows but alas all we get now are shitty remakes 😭
