Agreed! Gul started the manhandling and angry young man type heroes and forced marriages with ASR, and it continues to this day.. still the most popular trope on ITV 🤪

Raavi has my heart today. She metamorphosed from a delicate, hurt butterfly to a bee who stung Shiva right where it hurt.

Back then it used to be weekly show(episodes used to come once a week, like how they do it here in the US), also each show used to have fixed episodes, infact Fauji was only a 13 episode series. Suddenly in the year 2000 with SP and Ekta's rise daily soaps became popular, since then things went downhill. Daily shows dilutes the content a lot because the makers are constantly under pressure to meet the deadline which leads to poor writing.

So true. Finite weekly or biweekly series are much better in quality. These daily soaps filled with Saas bahu dumbness with people doing saazish all over spoilt both the quality of shows and societies...

No one can come close to manhandling when it comes to ASR 😖😖.

It feels so weird to think now that so many teenage girls were swooning over him, wanting a husband like him and i have literally seen some of my friends go crazy for him.

Luckily I didn't have a TV in my hostel then😆.I saw some glimpses much later in hotstar.

At least don't have them singing and hugging in yaadon ki baraat 😞😞😞😞

Keep the awkwardness intact, so that at least builds up to their confrontation.

I think the show suddenly went Sanskaari because of the 7:30 slot. Before that, it had an element of deeper exploration.

Dev is her jeth now 🤪

The thing is Dev is non confrontational. Maybe he believes instead of facing Raavi’s anger, blames, tears and possible complaints about Shiva and his characteristics in comparison to his, it’s better to bury the hatchet and be done with that nightmare. He wants to move on and hope that Raavi will Move on to... with Shiva. He knows his brother and loves him too much. So he thinks Shiva will fill the void he have left with happiness. But Shiva is different with family and he is different with Raavi so the probs are arising. Dev have over estimated his brother.

This is a good analysis! That said, what a contrast between Dev and Shiva, though being brothers they have nothing in common except they both love their family immensely. Shiva goes one step higher and protects them which Dev might not do. Shiva and Krish atleast share a common bond especially when they are planning a kaand😆

I agree 💯. What kind of spookiness is that? She has been dumped by him at the altar and hugging him in YKB? Forget reality! It doesn’t even happen in dreams!
