I read Akshay's interview that came out in IF today and understood why writers did not make him apologize to Raavi. That doesn't mean I am ok with it, but there is nothing we can do about it and neither is Raavi cribbing about it.

I didn't bother reading that interview, but does he justify this in it? 😆

Skimming through the last few pages of EDT, lots of interesting points are being raised. Not waiting to get into it, but can I please say that I'm looking forward to a proper redemption arc for Shiva?

Yea, sometimes ITV just glosses over everything... but in the past year, I have binged a few shows where the characters grow genuinely. I'm invested in both of their individual characters and want to see their complete story.

I am a Bengali, and trust me; nothing miffs me more than cultural appropriation or caricatured culture representation. I have been haunted for years by Kekta’s problematic Bengali picture.

He is too shy to speak I feel🤣 no relation with Shiva in these habits what so ever. He have never shied away from speaking to Raavi in presence of Shiva or protecting her from his heat and anger or even defending the ice cream eating in front of Shiva so his softness or care or silence can’t be attributed to shiva. He is like that all due to his own self.

Yes I am a Tamilian but have years of experience watching hindi shows since late 80s when I was in elementary school, was big fan of SRK once upon a time since Fauji days, but I am neutral towards him.

Glad to know that you are a Bengali😃 I have quite a few Bengali friends in the city I live in the US.

I think there will be an apology scene. There has to be one. Maybe he still doesn't have the courage to face her. When he apologized To shiva, it was him who initiated the convo and asked him what's wrong? Dev said he was feeling guilty and wanted to say sorry, but what difference will it make?

Yess... perhaps shiva was a Barrier between them.i wish they showed us childhood flashbacks.

What was their equation really like? Did Dev ever feel anything for raavi ? How close were shivi actually?

ITV doesn't generally do redemption arcs, only redemption scenes at best 😆

Lol, I know it makes no sense now, but this comment has helped me greatly! I'm trying to write a fanfic about DevTa romance, and it is just so hard since I can't figure out what type of lover Dev would be like 😆It's like Shiva stole all the anger and spontaneity in the womb and Krish stole the mischief...
