Yes God is parampita and yes there is Sita Maa but no Ram Baba
All religions seem to follow this tradition, the Goddesses and female relatives of Gods are Maa but most Gods are not thought of Paa
In Catholic tradition God is the father but Nuns ( and priests too?) are considered brides of Christ... That’s what I heard

Well said. My thought is along the same lines. In the South Asian society, young women are bound with a million restrictions to prevent them from losing their 'purity' and 'virginity', but when these same women become old and de-sexed, as in when they attain the status of "Aunty ji/Mummyji", they are respected and even feared by their sons and daughters-in-law. As in, women are given a place of respect only when they are devoid of their youth and sexuality.
👏 true! The traditions so deeply rooted in patriarchy and misogyny.
Same way a woman is respected if she's mother/sister/aunt but bhabhi isn't respected as such. It always perplexes me.
God is always called as father, almighty, even though He isn't the only creator.

In fact, the word 'bhabhi' is used in an overtly sexual fashion sometimes. You know, Savitha bhabhi and such. Men throw around words such as 'sexy bhabhi', 'mast bhabhi' etc. quite freely.
In Bengali, there is a web series called Dupur Thakurpo where all the tenants of a house lust after their landlord's wife who they address as bhabhi or 'boudi'.

Yes, and it's a whole genre of magazines that have propagated this idea even further. Even that show bhabhiji ghar pe hai..
