Pretty sure my friend's sister in law moved into a haunted house a few years ago. When they initially moved in, they kept hearing noises in the bathroom as if someone was using it. Like the sound of shower turning on, someone flushing, etc. They keep wondering if someone died in that bathroom and if their spirit keeps wandering in there 😕

That would have been absolutely terrifying. I was once on my way home at around 11pm. I then turned onto a road that was roughly three streets away from my house. That’s when I noticed a group of men standing/hanging out in the middle of the road. Since the road is super quiet, I assumed that they were drunk and were just hanging around. So I slowed down to give them the opportunity to make way for me to drive past. They all walked to the footpath (sidewalk) but one of the guys approached the front passenger side of my car and tried to open my door. I thank god 1000000 times that I had remembered to lock it. I immediately stepped my foot onto the accelerator and sped away. At that point, I wouldn’t have given a shit if they were standing in front of me. The adrenalin and terror was so great that I would have ran them over.

Moral of the story: Always lock your doors

Omg that was really close ... 😳 Thank god your doors were locked and you got out of there. I read this book once where it said that women tend to "rationalize" what they see at first glance instead of following their intuition that's usually right all along. Since you never know what's in store next, I just flee in another direction at the slightest hint of something looking "off." It's just not worth the risk, and I'm okay with being called "irrational" at times. I might be irrational but hey, at least I'm alive, right?! I mean, you shoulda seen the look on my face when they told me it's just a raccoon. 🤣

Moral of the story is so on the spot. The first thing I do as soon as I get in the car is lock all the doors cuz I'm always dreading worst case scenarios like someone getting in the car and pointing a gun to my head.😆 One of the worst things I've seen a lot of girls do is get in their cars and check their phones for 10-15 minutes without locking their doors.

Oh I’m like that too. At first glimpse of any potential danger, I’m already bolting the other way 😆. I’m also a paranoid fcuker, so I’m always checking if a car behind me has been following for too long. I’ve heard stories of people impersonating police officers and pulling women over. That’s a terrifying concept. Also, people can manipulate you into pulling over by pretending to be in trouble. How to even differentiate between someone who is genuine or faking it? 😟

I once read a report, where rapists had been interviewed to assess what kind of victims they target. Apparently they look for women with a ponytail (easy to grab onto), and check if their clothes would be an easy access since in most cases, they don’t have the time to pursue someone for a long period. They need it to be quick in order to avoid being caught. They also check to see if the girls are carrying any thing that can be used as a potential weapon (umbrella). Locations where they most likely target is public bathrooms and parking lots (especially when women are unaware of their surroundings when looking for their key). That’s why it’s so important to ALWAYS have your keys ready in your hands before walking towards your car.

If a male stranger is in trouble in the middle of nowhere, chances are he IS the trouble. 😆 So you keep driving. LOL ... I'd rather appear rude to a stranger than end up hung upside down next to a ditch somewhere ... it's a small price to pay considering the horror stories you hear about other women. Btw, another movie that really chilled my blood and infuriated me at the same time was Mardaani 2. It's worth a shot if you haven't watched it.

Those insights from rapists just go to show how sick and calculated they really are.🤢 I'd heard of women being particular vulnerable in parking lots but it's the first time I'm hearing about public bathrooms. Yikes. This isn't politically correct but stats prove that men in all ages and in all parts of the world are more violent than women and the MOST amount of danger women face is from men. It's sad, really. No wonder someone once said, “Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.” As dramatic as that sounds, I think it's pretty accurate.😆 Don't let the laughing emoji mislead you, I'm serious about it being dead accurate.

That's how it should be, actually. The thought never occurred to me but I'm gonna start peeking into my car before getting in for real. At this rate, I might build a ten step process till I'm actually ready to drive out of the parking lot, safe and sound. 😆 But hey, anything to keep up with a messed up world, right?!

Baghban. Excuse me if this is not what you intended but I can't watch this movie whether I am alone or with family or with friends. Total melodrama. My heart is not strong enough for this movie.

There are great movies bad movies and passable movies. I watch everything and laugh with them or at them. But this is something else. So this is the scariest movie in the world for me.
