My first set of questions for Madhzz 😳

1. What inspired you to start writing?

2. What was the first story written by you on IF? Will you share the link?

3. Have you ever face a writer's block? How do you tackle it?

4. What do you do when you aren't writing?

5. If you could tell your younger writing self anything, what would it be?

I admit I am a bit of a moody (or emotional) writer. 🙈 (not proud of that) I will take your suggestion, and make a writing schedule and stick to it. I also love Bhagwad Gita and Little Women. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. ❤️

I want to ask you, who is your favorite author, and why?

If you have to choose one particular character from all the novels you have read, whose emotions you resonate with the most, who would that be?

Thank you Tiara for your good words and appreciation🤗. I am trying to put into words how much my friends means to me is nearly impossible. ❤️ Our association of Beyhadh2 Days is continuing because our love for writing and mutual appreciation.

My favorite author.... what to say, you asked a question which needs a space of sky to write the answer!😊

Normally I love all the good books written by each and every writer/poet.

In the world of literature, poetry is a luxury, fiction is a necessity, but both seduce a dreamy mind to explore, express and impress the reader.

Tiara❤️, I started my reading journey with Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn, which presents two main visions of freedom in exploring questions about the meaning of liberty and at what price, if any, a person is truly free?! Then War and Peace, then Gone with the Wind, then Anna Karenina, then Cancer Ward, then Ayn Rand books, it's.... it's a never ending run, gasping, again galloping, don't want to stop ... so much is there to read ...God, please give me strength to finish at least 1/millionth of literature before the end knocks me down!

But my all-time great author is Vyasa .... the writer of Mahabharata! It is very difficult to write such an epic with diverse characters who defined human relationships in a vast canvas of life during those difficult times!

We’ve been thinking a lot about the women characters who have had lasting impacts on readers' minds. For all the hullabaloo about the dearth of strong female characters in modern culture, thankfully there are some wonderfully powerful, strong maidens that have inspired us with their strength, self-discovery, and incredible brilliance over the years.

I love to mention first and foremost ...Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë--"Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong! - I have as much soul as you, - and full as much heart!" See her confident discourse!!! A beautifully crafted character, her independence and wise attitude towards life, is really captivating , and create a strong ...complex character who can be seen as a true role model.

Another one is ---

Binodini from Chokher Bali -- Hers is a story of love, friendship, desire , ego, and deceit! It is a story of entangled relationships, gives us a clear picture of heart touching feelings which are though immoral, but at the same time immortal too!! Defining Binodini's thought process, feelings is not any actor's easy task, if anyone succeeded, it means we have to consider her as a great actress.

That's a wonderful collection of your favorite books. Being a book lover, I understand it is difficult to choose only one. Sorry I asked you a difficult question. 😅 Thank you for sharing your favorite reads so beautifully. ❤

I love that line by Jane in Jane Erye. Jane is one of my favorite characters too. Binodini is one of Tagore's masterpieces (among others in his vast work), I won't say she is my favorite but her strength and complexity never ceases to make me wonder. Thank you for sharing your love for strong female characters.🤗

1. What inspired you to start writing?

Writing is hugely cathartic, and many people are inspired to write when they are feeling at their most emotional state of mind. I feel, writing is the act of simply letting your stream of consciousness spill onto the paper. Writing while overwhelmed or after a challenging event can help release feelings and thoughts which you feel to share with others.

I don't know why, since my childhood I'd love to write. Not only that, but I was so eager to write something, so used to write a few chaklies and jalebies, just to fill the papers. Everyone at home used to hid their pens, pencils and chalks from me! 😭They appointed a teacher to teach me alphabets to keep me occupied.😃

My parents are lawyers, when they speak with their clients, sometimes they used to ask the clerk uncle to bring some books to their table. As a 3/4-year-old kid, I used to take those heavy books from his hands, to carry with great difficulty, embracing those books to carry up to their table. At that time, I dreamed of writing such books when I was a bit bigger, after growing up like Mom and Dad! 😃

2. What was the first story written by you on IF? Will you share the link?

In those days , I used to follow Pratyusha Banerjee serials, after watching her BV serial, started liking her acting prowess.

In a way , I can say, this is my first write up. Please don't laugh! 😳 ---- A Glare from the Mil, a wail from the Dil ...how long it will go on? ---https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/hum-hain-na/4267555/a-glare-from-the-mil-a-wail-from-the-dil-how-long-it-will-go-on

If you ask for an OS, then here is the link , it's atrocious and quite immaturity at it's peak !!!

The Relentless Love .OS ----- https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/hum-hain-na/4276936/the-relentless-love-os

It was a mediocre serial, only to support Prats, we used to write something there!

3. Have you ever face a writer's block? How do you tackle it?

Many times! Writer's block may have several causes. Some are creative problems that originate within an author's work itself. Its such a painful condition to any writer.... it's like an overwhelming feeling of being stuck in the writing process without the ability to move forward and write anything new.

To overcome it ...write anything. ..don't expect a good work from yourself, don't think about your past glory. Just start afresh, let your subconscious do the work...then see, look at the screen ...there ..there you'll find a beautiful piece of writing, if not today, may be tomorrow, but definitely you can and you will! Writing means creative ability, which must be an inherent quality , it won't allow you to sit aside to be silent! Trust me. It's a forceful waterfall, you can't control, it'll jump to touch the paper/comp screen.

4. What do you do when you aren't writing?

Love to listen to old songs, dreaming and thinking.

5. If you could tell your younger writing self anything, what would it be?

Just write like a freelancer, as I did at that time. I'd tell to myself that ...learn to use concrete imagery when writing about large, abstract themes. First write a synopsis then follow your thought process.

Thank you, Siri, for this lovely interaction. 🤗
