It's one thing to feel for shiva, but it's another thing to abuse raavi 😓

This reflects our patriarchial mindset where we always expect the women of the house to be mahaan and sacrificial.how basic demands like a good room, washroom and own share of money can be seen as selfishness.

No wonder the TV shows with two women one man track where the female lead is subjected to such mental agony and still suffers in silence, blames the other woman but not the man do so well in terms of trp 😞😞 .

We are subconsciously subjected to see sacrificial, silent weeping women💔

Raavi cannot take sides. And she SHOULD NOT take sides. But in this situation, if she takes Maami's side, I don't think she'd be wrong. Because no matter how correct and in character Shiva's demand for kangan is he has no right to trade it for his wife. Even if raavi was not his wife, no human can be put equivalent to a commodity no matter how invaluable or precious that commodity is.

I said this yesterday also after seeing the precap, this whole thing kangan- raavi deal is no less than those creepy husbands demanding dowry.. like give this much cash, or car etc or take your daughter nonsense.🤬 I donot support this act of Shiva!

The kangans belong to his mother, fine, I'm sure he can come up with better ways of taking them back rather than hurting and dissing an innocent girl who has nothing to do with the whole kaand but is being dragged in just because she's now related to both the parties.

And what you said is true! Everybody expects sonething ir the other from the wife but the husband gets a free pass.
