He had only planned to ask for the kangan and put Maami in spot, decided not to leave until he got what he wanted but when Mami pulled Raavi's name and put him back on the spot, that's when he decided Raavi will not go if he doesn't get the kangan.

His plan was to only confront Mami and get the kangan, that's why there was a sense of calmness at the same time he was firm with mami.

Just because they want to remain "together" they are ignoring the small problems and issues between the family members that one day may become too big to handle.

Aaliya I still think there is something major that's coming up! All that money which he got from that land mortgage deal uska kya hoga? Plus maami has the bag of money as per the bts.. I am sure Shiva is planning something major! We have to wait and watch

Sure, but it will be very naive of him to assume that maami will give the kangan simply because he asks her to as shagun. He wasl calm and evidently thought this through. He knows maami will never do that, so why would he ask that in the first place if there isn't something more to it?

Understand the importance of Kangans, but putting Raavi on the line wasn't right. And I have a feeling she may do that.

Kind of like in Mahabharat when Yudhistir puts draupadi as a daav. Shiva's is 2021 version of it but disrespect is the same. I'm hoping for his acknowledgement and apology for this.

Edit: also, though I don't want anyone to interfere, I wouldn't minnd if they use the Mahabharat analogy to make Shiva realize his mistake. But that's all. I don't want them to give him gyaan on what's right and wrong. I want him to come to that conclusion and make amends to correct the mistake.

Exactly! The kangans are greatly important but do that lessens Raavi's importance, her value?

Maami is greedy, she is evil. We all know that, but Shiva dragging Raavi in this exchange wasn't good.

@bold - so true! Siva stopped her from taking between him and Maami because this issue wasn't related to her then what gave him the right to make her a part of this exchange condition?
