Something should be done about this show. It is way too toxic and the saddest part is, it is still a TRP topper. This show clearly lacks balance that other top shows have. Ever in shows like Anupama and Imlie, FLs get taunted and insulted. The difference is, if one person taunts them, there are 10 people who fight for them. That is what is missing here. A 19 year old has to fight all alone while grown ass people either keep harassing her or are mute spectators. This show clearly needs to tone down the negativity. And for that, the makers should start making a show instead of copy pasting from the Bengali version. They need to realize that the times have changed and people will no longer tolerate such toxicity in the name of entertainment.

I do not know whether SP permitted to change the scrip. The other TOP shows in SP are copied from regional but if I am not wrong they have made many changes.

Only TRPS will tell. In Ghum writers have gone overboard with toxic drama. Every other episode one person is targeted for any lamest reason. Other show of Shaika is out of brac impression because it too have gone overboard and OTT dialogues

I dont watch other shows but i watch anupama sometimes ....and i can say that its not toxic. They show balance of everything. Some what seems like real life. At least they portray something from which society can learn some good.

But Ghum is out right toxic show..... nothing to learn ...no fair treatment given to FL or ML. Its like the makers are leaving in different age. And to top it all it has no logic or sense...especially the story progression, characters progression suck's... they forget to close imp topics or scenes.

There is no balance in Ghum and that is the main problem. There are many other serials that show toxic rubbish, like most of Ekta's shows. But even there vamps are treated as vamps and get called out. None of the shows encourage this level of bullying that is shown here. Sai gets cornered everyday and every tom, dick and harry insult and bully her. I don't have problem with drama. What I have problem with is that there is no justice in the end. There is no progress or no redemption or punishment. Also there is no one to support Sai. Virat is a mute spectator and people like Ashwini and Mohit are too weak. And today they crossed all the limits. I saw a few clips and my heart broke for Sai. No one seems to even think that she is a human being.

Exactly! Not sure who gave PP's mother right to taunt Sai and belittle her...that was so OTT. And again Virat was just being nice..... being a good human for no reason. He could have asked PP's mother to shut the f**k up!!

Saw Sai's breakdown in an insta clip. I seriously want to take Sai far away from CN house but I know it is fiction and is not possible. So, I am giving up on the serial. It is way too toxic. Will just visit forum...no insta clip, no hotstar.

It’s mentally draining watching this. I watch for Neil and Ayesha but I don’t know about others I’m feeling mentally depressed watching this.

I’m trying to convince myself that’s it’s not worth watching for actors and my mental balance is more important.

There is no balance between drama, comedy and romance. Instead they show beautiful pictures of Sairat before dishing out this toxicity.

Never thought a tv programme could bring this sort of reaction. I’m normally a strong person and ‘my glass is always half full’ no matter how bad things have got.

I fear for those people that aren’t strong and have got sucked into this 💩

Its just said in pain and for effect. Virat won't let her go away or divorce and Sai loves him too. She just does not know it.
