I think Sonu’s first instinct was shock and so she doubted ishqi but then when ishqi said she did not do it, Sonu seemed to agree. Dadi is so annoying she knows rhea did it and is selfish and still rather have her marry ahaan than ishqi.

Sonu is not smart enough to think like Kartik and she has no brains like him.

She just accepted what was presented to her but honestly I didn't find it wrong when she said usne kissi reason se he kia hoega..so overall she didn't doubt Ishqi bt was stuck up in her own thing.
