There is no need to say anything Asma, actions speak louder than words!
It is not about Purvi or Sakshi’s sympathizers – it is about the character arc of Vir, which has been downhill for the past 2 months. Vir’s inability to take a firm stand and work out a feasible solution has resulted in him insulting his own self as well as both the women.
He claims to love Purvi but he cannot give her the status of a wife till he divorces Sakshi. Sakshi has no plans to divorce him, so then what is Vir’s future course of action wrt to Purvi? Is she to remain a molkki or a doosri aurat all her life, till Sakshi gets bored of playing Vir’s wife? In the meantime, even after confessing his love for Purvi, Vir has no qualms in sharing a bedroom with Sakshi!
I dislike Sakshi immensely but there have been times when Vir has shown tremendous disrespect towards her as well. The KC Pooja & the painting competition were in such bad taste that I cannot think of them without cringing even today!
Coming to his own self – his confession on the Molkki Diwas is, by far, one of the worst love confessions to happen on ITV, I am sure! In one breath you are professing to love one woman, and in the very next breath, without missing a heartbeat, you are telling another woman that she will always remain your wife? WTF, man! What is this even supposed to mean? Forget the women, in this scene Vir degraded himself!
Even this week’s scenes – all this jealousy and possessive behaviour reeks of hypocrisy! Vir & Sakshi have been staying in the same room, feeding each other the first niwala in front of Purvi. But if Purvi cooks for Vipul, Vir gets offended and walks off in a huff?? He was upset but agreeable to get Purvi married to that Gaurav. But if the prospective groom happens to love Purvi, Vir has a problem?
Till now, at no point, has Vir been shown to contemplate the future, thinking of how this mess is to be solved. He only focusses on one thing – he cannot stay without Purvi. But what about her status in his life? He has not considered that even ONCE – and THAT is my problem! I agree the situation is delicate and requires time. Till then the best way is to back-off and keep distance from both of them! But Vir appears content to play ghar-ghar with both!
In my opinion, jo cheez chori-chupe karni pade, woh galat hai! If you love Purvi, accept her as your wife and do what you want. These stolen romantic moments behind the wife’s back makes me feel as if Purvi is his dirty little secret.
Purvi’s constant Sakshi bhakti has already marred her character beyond recognition. She does not care for anyone or anything beyond Sakshiji, which is sickening to see!
About Sakshi – less said the better!
But I have most issues with Vir, coz for me, he is the only one who matters at the end of the day. I love Purvi, but Vir is the reason I see the show. So I am more affected by his degradation.
