I quite liked the episode. Laid a lot of interpersonal dynamics out in the open, setting the stage for upcoming tension.

Before jumping into the meat of the episode, I really enjoyed Milind's interactions with Sulochana and Amrutha today. I was just thinking, watching his and Pallavi's interaction and familiarity over at the Rao house the other day, how lonely he'd be right now. Him taking Amrutha off for tea reminded me of so many similar scenes we've had with him and Pallavi before.

Also, IDK if I've appreciated him before, but I really like the actor who plays Sunny. I think he's fantastic on screen, and I especially like how he plays off of both Sai and Shivangi. I've wanted Sunny Pallavi scenes since Kirti's birthday, so I was happy to get one today, as well as the call in the precap.

I also really liked the scene where Farhad and Raghav were talking about their employee who was conned by his son in law- it was so evident how they were both interpreting the situation differently- Raghav saw how that guy betrayed his wife and family and ran off for just 50L, whereas here Sunny has returned 5cr. Farhad was talking of how the SIL bankrupt the man. Sunny ka iraada exactly yeh hai- 5cr is a drop in the ocean for Raghav, and Sunny has a bigger plan in mind- after all, Raghav ki behen uske 'pyaar ke kaale jaadu' mein hai, as he so explicitly states.

I was really rooting for Kirti and Pallavi to make up, but yahaan toh the situation is getting worse. Kirti's reference to how close a friendship she and Pallavi once had was 💔😭

Sunny's smart to keep Kirti wary of Pallavi, because Pallavi is the one who's been able to see through him from the first ever interaction. Raghav reminds me of that folktale, with the powerful king, jiski jaan uske tote mein basti thi. Raghav hoga raja, but jaan uski Kirti aur Amma mein basti hai, and Kirti Sunny ke haath mein hai. It's easier for Pallavi to be neutral in this matter, so Sunny Pallavi ko hi villain bana raha hai. Well played! I'm completely on board with a Farhad-Pallavi team up for this, like the episode seemed to hint.

Now coming to Raghav- yeah, annoyed at him today. I don't understand what he's playing at. If this is all a plan, he needs to tell Pallavi- he went to her asking for her help after his idiotic 70s villain trick failed, so now I'm not cool with him choosing to freeze her out. If it's not a plan, then he's being behen ke pyaar mein andha, which is in character, so whatever. Forget Pallavi, he didn't even check with Jaya before fixing the engagement? Yikes. Also, the comment about 'meri family' was a low blow. I like that Pallavi stood her ground, but it's an incredibly unfair thing to say. Once someone marries into a house, they are family. You don't get to put qualifiers on who is more family, or less family.

Last week also we had Pallavi become the punching bag due to bhai-behen tensions, and it happened again today. TBH, I didn't mind last week's much, but today rubbed me the wrong way. Khud involve karo, and when you don't like what she's saying, khud tell her to butt out? Just because she doesn't cry over it doesn't mean it's acceptable, I'm glad she doesn't back down, and she should continue to- not here for her being taken for granted by yet another family.

With that rant out of the way, I think this track may make Raghav less pyaar-mein-andha towards his family, which I've wanted for a long time. I've always said that this is something Raghav and Pallavi have in common- they're usually smart, perceptive people, but when it comes to their families, they are ruled by their emotions, impulsive, bad decision makers and just kind of stupid, so seeing Raghav be stupid in the face of 'bhai' doesn't bother me (aside: I was surprised with 'bhai' instead of 'anna'- anyone with a better memory remember whether flashback-Kirti used to call flashback-Raghav 'bhai' or 'anna' or just Raghav?). I've also always believed that the relationship Raghav has with his family is as emotionally toxic as Pallavi with the Deshmukhs, we just cut the Raos more slack since they're not intrinsically vile people like VIjay and Sulochana are, and the tension was built upon intense trauma that all are suffering through.

Family ke liye pyaar aur izzat hona acchi baat hai, par ek hadd tak. Usmein you shouldn't lose your own sense. Pallavi managed to break out of that toxic hold her family had over her, and I'll be glad to see Raghav break out of it too. Bohot ho gaya pyaar ki bheek maangna, from people who'll just use their emotions to make them weak. Kirti said she got her brother's love for the first time in 10 years? Bullshit. She's always had it, it's just that Raghav's tactic of steamrolling others when he's made up his mind worked in her favor today.

Also, extremely excited about upcoming Pallavi-Sharda scene! Their first interaction since the big showdown!

I also felt bad for Milind.. I wish for his own good, he stops pacifying Vijay.. With Pallavi gone and Sharda off to god knows where, he seems like a lost soul.. infact eversince Pallavi left, gloom is all I can sense in Deshmukh house.. happy to see Amrutha turn over a new leaf as someone who can tell right from wrong.. now I can say that she really is growing out of her Ayi's shadow after realizing that her scheming ways have only cost them their happiness.. ek gayi to dusri ayi.. Manasi aka chhota bindi

I said this earlier today.. the actor playing Sunny is doing a pretty good job .. he has a confident body language and a natural flair in his acting.. I also like his scenes with Shivangi and Sai.. the give and take is good...the way he switches his demeanor.. no wonder she felt that he is a two faced guy who pretends to be someone else infront of them.. the thing she said about how to judge a person's character is so true..

It was good to see Farhad get some screen time today.. though I would really for Raghav to be a lil cordial towards him.. sometimes I feel bad with the way Raghav treats him..I understand they have a boss-employee equation but Farhad has been more than an employee to him..always..I hope at some point in the story they show a track where Raghav verbally acknowledges Farhad's place in his life..

The UP Delhi street language that he speaks makes him even more convincing as Dilli ka ladka. Funny how quickly Keerthi went from Raghav to bhai and back to Raghav within a span of few minutes. I was expecting Pallavi to be more tactful and not show her disapproval of Sunny so openly. In a way she did the exact same mistake that Raghav did with bribing Sunny. Now Keerthi will never trust her as being her wellwisher. Instead of leaving the brealfast table and talking to Raghav privately, she could've suggested meeting Sunny's family and getting them on board.. this way they could've bought more time to do a bg check on Sunny. And when will Raghav learn to listen to counter opinions especially on important matters.. Farhad always warns him against taking hasty decisions but he dismisses him in a rather rude manner. Hope Farhad gets to play an important role in exposing Sunny.

@bold finally someone else said it too. I was just writing this in another post that she should have been tactful and in this matter I agree with Raghav that she screwed up. However, he needs to slow down and think too and know by know that brushing Farhad off eventually lands him in trouble. I hope Farhad gets to play a big role too. He's been observing everything from day 1 and maybe he gets to see things others can't because he's not being ruled by his emotions or prejudices.

I like Keerti calling Pallavi out on not helping her as a friend and putting aside the SIL relationship. I am not saying Pallavi should agree with what Keerti wants to do but when we have differences of opinion with our friends we should be even more careful not to alienate them. This way Keerti won't confide in her at all. Ugh...

Also, Raghav telling Pallavi not to interfere in his family matters was quite interesting. He realized the moment the words left his mouth that he shouldn't have said that, but Pallavi was right that it came out because somewhere inside he felt that. I don't think he's fully accepted her as a wife in the life partner sense. He's still living in the moment and hasn't thought about this marriage long-term. Which is fine, he'll learn. On the other hand, Pallavi is totally invested in everything in this relationship and everything related to him and his family. I don't know if she considers the Raos 100% her family the way she used to the Deshmukhs but I think she's well on her way there.

Sunny understands all these dynamics really well and he's enjoying watching them fall apart.

Keerthi, is even more a chameleon than Amma. I’ve always pegged her as judgemental and thoroughly opportunistic. And what’s with now Raghav being the best brother in the whole world when yesterday she was swearing she had none? Ok that’s a given and I don’t expect anything more from her. But what’s with Raghav taking a 360 degree turn and basically marrying sunki off?!! Only yesterday he was hell bent on exposing that good for nothing fella. I cannot believe that just because keerthi called him bhai he’s ok with this nonsense.. like really?!! I know he is blinded when it comes to family and desperately wants to set things right with her but hasn’t he learned anything with how badly he went about cornering Pallavi , making her life hell, marrying her because of his amma’s whims and regretting later and is still dealing with the aftermaths of that?!!! I’m actually quite put off. Only yesterday he was begging Pallavi for advice and she was insisting we’ll have to do things together and be on the same page 🤷🏻‍♀️Unless this is some plan of his in which case he’s not kept Pallavi in the loop !! I’m totally befuddled. Has someone bodysnatched the born smart Raghav Rao?!!!

I don't know where all this is going honestly. I don't want to see him being dumb. Brash, yes, furious, yes, stubborn, yes, but not stupid, come on!

Keerti is the one who begged him for help when they were in jail and then forgot all that. I think that's why Raghav wasn't really convinced when she called him bhai, even though he did like the sound of it. He became weak for a bit, that word washed over his ears and stopped him from saying anything. It also confirmed what I'd been thinking, that Keerti probably wanted Raghav to be an understanding kind of brother who respected boundaries but was always supportive of her decisions. I don't think he's ever been that for her (not that they've interacted so much over the years), and all his 'secret' help didn't go unnoticed by her. She does indeed feel suffocated because he tries too hard to hold on and fence her in with his protectiveness.

If only he'd talked to her when he found out about Sunny and been open with her, things wouldn't have ended up this way. Then again if he had, we wouldn't be getting all this drama.

While Sunny can go around smirking at Pallavi for not being able to do anything, RR will secretly be putting his plan in action without suspicion or disturbance. After all, RR is all about the right timing in action.

@bold I truly hope so 😕

Kaheka digging re... he flopped in digging pallavi's past and present... That's why I am not so confident on anyone in digging the matters..😕

Its safe to say that Keerthi is an opportunist and extremely immature..Now I don't even know why she was ever called the "sensible one" ? Just because of her disapproval of Amma's decision to get Raghav and Pallavi married? One can argue that it was only because she was never willing to give him a chance at anything.. It was rather childish and unprincipled of her to forget all that hatred she has been harboring for Raghav for so long, and show such superficial affection.. She acted like a toddler honestly who throws tantrums at not getting her favorite toy and then when her parents give her the toy, they forget everything and parents become the "best ever" I will be disappointed in Raghav if Pallavi has to do all the digging alone ot with Farhad, while he wastes time preparing guest list and buying presents.. I want him to be the sharp, intuitive guy who can see through rogues like Sunny.. Hoping to see Pallavi get Raghav on board quickly and then them teaming up to expose Sunny

If I give Raghav the benefit of the doubt, I think he's rushing with the engagement because he wants to trap Sunny, so that he doesn't have time to think or plot further. The more time lapses the more chances of Keerti going off on a tangent again. He is indeed doing this for her happiness, i.e. helping her see the truth, helping all of them see the truth, good or bad.

Reminds me of that funny thread we had here where Raghav asks Sunny to move in with them and makes them realize the cost of living there and scaring them off. 🤣 From what he said to Farhad about making Sunny live with them, even if he doesn't do what we were joking about, the principle is the same: to give this nibba nibbi a wake up call and let them see that life isn't fun and games.

The word bhai was almost a gaali from her mouth today and Raghav knew it wasn't genuine. I felt so bad for him because even if he was aware of what was going on, his reflexes are still to protect her, still to accept any gesture she made towards him, any hand she reached out. The way he circled his hand around hers on the table immediately, a hand that had been waiting, but a hand that won't hesitate to strike where it's necessary and be the bad guy in her life for her own good. This is not going to end well. 😔

I don't want Pallavi involved in this and I think based on the promo she won't be. Let Farhad be there to do the digging. He's the only level-headed person there and I trust him completely. Plus the incident he was discussing with Raghav today about the fraud damaad is going to make him draw parallels with Sunny, if he hasn't already. Time for the love letter to make an appearance. What have you done with it Farhad miyan?

I was a bit 'WTF?' at Pallavi pulling Raghav from the table, as if this was an urgent conversation that could not have happened after breakfast, instead of being so dramatic about it and having it right then and there. That made me facepalm.

But barring that dumb action, can't say I disagreed with any of the things she was saying today. She and Farhad have their heads on right, perhaps due to being removed from the situation. That's why I really want a team up from them on something. Let Pallavi discover her tactfulness, manage the optics of it all, while Farhad digs deep and finds the smoking gun. Play their strengths.

That's the point, exactly. He makes it seem like he's honoring Raghav's wishes and scoring even more marks in front of Keerti, but the fact that Raghav announced the engagement says that he already expected him to say yes. Issi liye to announce pehle kiya aur Sunny, I mean nibba, ki marzi baad mein poocha Raghav ne.
