I know right and that's why I was so upset with the slot change. It was doing fantastic for 11 pm. I think it was 11 pm when they were shooting for that first jul Devi Pooja too where Raavi refused to hold his hands and that intense scene where Shiva filled her maang with Sindoor and Raavi was unhappy again. Though we were mad about unclearing of MU, it had depth. and all of sudden in prep for the bonfire episode, Dhara addresses herself as BhabhiMa and things went downhill.
The 11 PM slot was beautiful! They had the perfect mix of drama, romance and journey. Dhara and Gaumbi romance was ethereal. Shivi were hearts! Even Dev had a decent story.
This Bhabhi Ma and Danda pitaya were so blah. Also, makeup, lighting, dress etc., all degraded. I get it because of the shooting limitations; this might have happened, but Jeez... the writing is almost terrible. Whatever happened to the sexy Dhara!
And yikes, Raavi’s clothes and styling. She used to look so good before the wedding. I even liked the suit she had worn the day after her marriage. They made her this annoying sanskari stupid girl.
Gaumbi had meaning in everything he did; Dev had work. Now, all they do is eat food.
The near-death experience should have been explored. God knows what are they smoking these days.
