Honestly, more than the grandiose gestures of singing song and all of that, it was the telugu dialogue that he just wnated her to be happy which is why he did it that was so sincere and heartfelt.

Ofcourse his sincere effort to learn a hindi song and sing it in his besura voice did melt pallavi. Also it was nice, raghav coming to know small tidbits of her life. Her love for classic hindi songs, that she makes even bappa listen to these songs.

Again , raghav has always wanted to belong to someone. And mera pati always gives him that sense of belonging. Which is why he wants to be more of a husband than wanting to be a friend/lover.. also i guess which is why he was sincere and committed to this marriage since the start.

Sunny is such a gold digger.. comes back only for more money.. interesting.. keerthi scolded raghav that his and pallvi’s rishta is khareeda hua and now sunny comes back and uses the same word to get keerthi back.

Ah the precap.. pallavi knows raghav likes smelling her hair and she intentionally made him do it...

Indeed, he's always craved this sense of belonging and doesn't miss a second to latch on to it. I still felt bad for him, all this attention from Amma and Pallavi is new in his life. Raindrops on parched soil after a drought of 10 years.

When you say Raghav wants to be a husband more than a friend/lover, what does that really mean? Also, does he not want to be her lover? Maybe later on when he realizes she's his soulmate?

@bold, didn't think of this but if it's true then she is doing as per our predictions and leading the way.

Pallavi knows the effect her hair smell has on him.. and also inspite of all his “i am not interested in you” she knows he is not immune to her. Even that night she knew he was checking her out in the night robe.

I think so too. This way he can remain on Keerti's good side and ensure she doesn't do something crazy, remains within his sights until the matter is resolved.

It's always been Pallavi who felt her emotions around Raghav. She always seemed more acutely aware of how Raghav made her feel. Raghav always placed the brakes before he let his mind wander too much but Pallavi, Pallavi we have seen her reflecting on their interactions. She actually let her thoughts go there more. All this even before the marriage. Like when he accidently put Holi colours on her and we saw her thinking about it. She has always been so much more open not just physically but emotionally as well with Raghav.

Yes, and to me it looks like she's realizing her feelings already, especially based on the words of the MHRW song when they were staring at each other after the singing. Raghav is still stuck at the husband title and caring for her.

@bold, there, you said it. I felt exactly the same way.

She's totally checking him out and I agree, she's the one looking at him with so much passion. I don't know how the scene will play out but I feel like she's overtaking him in this department, at least for now, and I am so happy to see her not being coy or silly about it. She chose to stay with him, he makes her feel secure, and she knows he cares for her above all else. Why hold herself back? Raghav is still not 100% thinking about the future of this marriage, he's very much living in the moment of feeling like he belongs, enjoying playing husband-wife at the surface level and getting to know her slowly. We know he was born to be a husband, but what that entails, he will discover slowly. Also, he's never been with a woman in this way before so it's new ground for him.

She didn't ask him to do her her hair just like that. It's an intimate thing already, whereas Raghav was like fine, I'll do it. Sure, he's enjoying himself but they aren't at the same level in this scene. She's clearly taking advantage of him having his eyes closed and why not? It reminded me of the way she was looking at him when she was dressing his wounds and how he woke up startled by her intense gaze. She always found him attractive.

I agree, love the role reversal as always and knowing how hands off he is, she will have to give him cues from time to time to show him she's welcoming him more and more into her personal space. I have always wanted to see her feel empowered and at ease with expressing her emotions and desires to him as a wife, and Raghav is the perfect kind of life partner with whom a woman would never feel ashamed or inhibited to express herself. He is not the kind of guy who would mind her advances or taking the lead either, in fact he might actually enjoy that.

It is just that Amma said you might not be happy here so I thought you would be at least happy at your brothers place. I wanted you to be happy - that's all. I loved the way he said all this. hey, thanks for the translation. My toota phoota knowledge of Telugu didn’t understand it properly then 😂 It was so cute the way he tried to convey his emotions in his own language. That’s what we all do, isn’t. When we want to let out our emotions, it has to be in our mother tongue.

Attitude Rao, bindi ka ghulam and saree ka assistant make one fun team. Its so good to see that Krishna and Milind have whole heartedly accepted Raghav. For Milind, he is ghar ka damaad and for Krishna her only jiju. Yesterday, I was kinda bummed at learning that Krishna and Milind will be present when Raghav will sing for Pallavi but their presence along with Amma's didn't take away from the beautiful moment these two shared.. The choice of song by Raghav- ''tum aa gaye ho, noor aa gaya hai, nahi to charagho se lau ja rahi thi, jeene ki tumse wajah mil gayi, badi bewajah zindagi ja rahi thi '' the timeless classic from the movie aandhi, was so apt in expressing his feelings for Pallavi, his gratitude towards her.. ❤️ and the reciprocation of the exact feelings by her in her words ''bohot shukriya, badi meherbani, meri zindagi mein huzoor aap aaye.. kadam choom lu, ya ye ankhe biccha lu, karu kya ye meri samaj mein na aye'' was just too sweet for words.. he was leaving after finishing the song, maybe thinking it wasn't that great.. loved how she stopped him by starting to sing for him.. Milind's expression was priceless. This side of Pallavi, must be new and surprising for him too.. and while Raghav's singing may have been far from perfect, just the fact that he put himself out there for her, even ready to make a fool of himself with his besura awaz..I mean, who wouldn't melt?

When there's so much to gush about, I don't feel like talking about Sanki and Keerthi's drama but I wanna say that I hope the open threat of throwing Milind's family out on the streets, acts as a motivation big enough for Sulochana to go back to her plotting of usurping the house and property under her name and this time I hope she succeeds.

And the right way for Raghav to handle Sunny, would be to take the cheque and Rs11 ka shagun back and say that he accepts him as his brother in law and would be happy to get them married at the earliest date possible. Let's see how he reacts to that, since he has no plans of marrying Keerthi.

I also noticed Milind's surprise and it made sense because she never got a chance to a wife, Mandaar never had a chance to spend time with her after their wedding or do anything for her. I like that Pallavi wasn't holding back and was appreciating everything he did. What better way than to sing back to him and let him know that his efforts were appreciated but also to answer his doubts about her reasons to stay back once and for all, about whether or not she was happy at the Raos, and most importantly how she felt about having him in her life in response to his expression. I am glad that neither Raghav nor Pallavi sang in tune because it felt more natural.

The song choice for Raghav couldn't have been better, and ironically the singers were Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar, who Amma mentioned she liked listening to. That song is iconic because it's so simple yet expresses the man's emotions about having his woman in his life again. It's not just about love or romance but there's a spiritual side to it that I find really beautiful and that we know Raghav has as well. He's the guy who was very clear in episode 1 about what love means for him, it goes way beyond just the fluttering of hearts.

I think Pallavi will be stuck at this phase of pulse racing, dhak dhak moments, romance, being the wife and married to him, etc. for a bit whereas when he realizes what he wants out of this marriage, he will be looking for the all-encompassing love story. Again, very refreshing to see an ML like this.

Yeah.. it reminded me of Vanraj singing for Nandini in hum dil de chuke sanam.. though Sai has a better voice texture than Ajay Devgan.. he started off quite nicely actually.. I loved how he was getting up thinking that maybe she wan't much impressed.. and she senses what's going on in his mind and how beautifully she reciprocates, to acknowledge his effort and to show her gratitude! This is one of the reason why ITV daily soaps, despite having 1000s of shortcomings, still have such a large viewership.. the way they are able to portray love, desire, longing with such simple scenes without any physical intimacy..

The pool side scene, where Pallavi is lost in Raghav's thoughts, smiling coyly while twirling the bangle in her hand...that's a girl in love...I think she has started realizing and accepting the feeling.. The flirting in the precap scene and the way she looks at him when he is so close to her, she is very much there.. as is Raghav.

@bold, this is so well put. They were both singing with other people around but still their eyes did the talking. As soon as he finished he opened his eyes to search for her response, her approval and clearly she was frozen on the spot for a bit because it made her emotional, so he looked disappointed and was about to leave. Aww....

@blue, I think the MHRW lyrics played when they were staring at each other after the singing tells you clearly that she realizes she's falling for him and is totally embracing this feeling. It was so nice to see her smiling like that after ages, sitting alone by the pool. While Raghav thinks it's because he's succeeded in pacifying her, bechara only asks for space in her mind, doesn't know he's taken over her heart already. I sometimes feel he's going to be a bit obtuse about this. Let's see.

Thinking back to Sikand's previous show KHKT, the FL was more aware of her feelings, fell in love first and realized it too. Will it be the same here? With what we have seen of Pallavi; getting mad at RR for not replying to her texts, reflecting on Holi and getting lost in Raghav when he held her during the gun fight all point in that direction. We discussed this in the Raghav flirting thread that Pallavi will have to initiate as RR has always been closed off and almost reluctant that he may offend. Then there is his childhood trauma of feeling unworthy of love.

Pallavi seems to be someone who wants a loving husband and blissful married life but was content with whatever little happiness she got in life; afraid to ask for more in case she loses what little she has (ie. avoiding marriage to stay with Deshmukh family). With RR she isn't afraid to feel or request or demand - the irony that she's like this with the Don of Hyderabad of all people.

@bold, I feel this is what will prevent him from being more proactive or making direct advances. He will respond to her cues or end up doing some things unintentionally. I don't see him trying to woo her at all. He's fixated on the title, role and responsibilities of being a husband, which I understand. This marriage gives him the legitimacy to keep her in his life.

I love it that she's not afraid. She's always been bold with her thoughts and emotions when dealing with Ragahv since they day they first met, and more touchy touchy of the two, so I don't want her to change. I hate it when they make FLs excessively coy all of a sudden after marriage, when they were making life hell for the ML since they first met. LOL Besides, we've always seen him give her more leeway than he ever would anyone else.

Jokes apart, I agree, she got so used to compromising that she never explored beyond her boundaries. The storm Raghav displaced her from her sheltered existence and now she looks around and chooses to be free of those shackles, do what Pallavi wants, not Pallavi Deshmukh or Rao. It must be so liberating to have a husband like that, who doesn't suffer from patriarchal notions. Again, I will say I believe his father was a great husband and he wants to be one too. He was always probably raised thinking that when he married he would give his wife the respect and happiness that his father gave his mother, so it's second nature to him. Amazing how upbringing can affect your thoughts and decisions from an early age.

I think she knows what he means to hear and how she feels for him, whether or not she articulates it. No one has ever put in this much effort to make her happy before. Not surprising that she's going to be nuts about him. She doesn't care for worldly things, just wants care, respect, and love. She's getting the first two from him already, the last will come soon too.

@bold, well said. Besides, he already told her he had given her all the rights of a wife - not sure he knew back then exactly what that entailed but his had the right approach.
