Waise it was interesting to note the difference in Sonu's and Kartik's reaction when Dadi said yes to Ishqaan. Kartik was suprised and Sonu said it isnt suprising that Dadi is doing this. I'm guessing because Dadi has often pampered Sonu so she sees her good side? But Kartik ko nahi kiya kya? Just because he has different views than her? That makes me sad.

that happens, in my family I am the most pampered child and my cousins are punished. But it’s not because of views, it’s because I was not the mischievous one. And in the show we can assume that Sonu was docile and Karthik was the naughty one

Kartik and Ahaan knows Dadi a little more than Sonu does. Ahaan knew blackmailing kaam karega 😆 Kartik also knows Dadi easily haar Manne wali nehi 😉 Sonu and Ishqi both are not good in judging people. Ahaan-Kartik is also not pro but they knows Dadi's nature however even they are clueless about her intentions.

I think that only Karthik knows and for me it comes a lot from the fact that he had his parents, he doesn’t have to feel insecure of being an orphan or lonely in case he offends his grandmother

Yes can relate. Off screen personality affects. That's why I don't try to know more about offscreen stuffs because if by chance I get negative vibes from real personality I wouldn't be able to enjoy or relate to his/her on screen character.
