We are happily married,' Arbaaz and Malai

Call it a cruel April fool joke or a publicity gimmick, but the fact remains that Arbaaz Khan and his 'pretty' and 'sexy' wife Malaika Arora Khan are happily married to each other and there's no trouble in their paradise.

Wednesday morning Mumbaites woke up to an article on the front page of a Mumbai tabloid with headlines as"Kaput" Malaika and Arbaz Khan have gone their different ways.. Shocked reactions began pouring in.. But Indiatimes Movies dug deep to get the true picture..

And now the real story and that too straight from the horse's mouth. "It's a publicity gimmick for the new Ponds Ad, didi and Arbaaz Bhai are doing. The Ad concept is, they are happily married in the beginning, but split later and Arzaaz Bhai decides to remarry," reveals Malaika's sister Amrita and adds "My sister and Arbaaz Bhai are very disturbed and hassled, they obviously weren't prepared for this. They thought it will be some small write up somewhere, but they didn't expect this and we as a family weren't prepared to handle something of this sort. I'm on my way to Dubai, but the phone hasn't stopped ringing. I'm tired of replying to the thousand of messages and answering phone calls."

While the same goes for Malaika and her husband. "Man, it's maddening, we are calling for a press conference in the evening to clarify it," says Malaika. While Arbaaz too rubbishes the split as a rumour and says "We are happily married and very much together. Thank you for your concern. Everything is fine in our front.
