I just wanna take a few to put down and appreciate how much our Ayesha had grown as an actor. She is the least experienced cast member i think...but this show has allowed her to blossom and how!
In the last 2 episodes she was almost pitch perfect and got a whole range of emotions to display.
She potrayed her rage, disgust initially at the allegations, stood up for herself with pride, confidence. But we also got to see her tear up towards the end as she finally expressed her pain at the nonstop taunts but then stop abruptly as she realized that she shouldnt show her weakness.
She showed her selfless concern for both ninad and Ashwini through her expressions.
Then once Virat is back we see their aankhon mein baatein. The way she puts up her strong facade in words but her body language and expressions show that she actually does not want to go.
The way she smiles through the tears just to herself as Virat leaves with her bags. The satisfaction of being reassured that her husband wants her to stay.
And in the bedroom scene we see that small hint of smile as soon as Virat starts talking normally in their bedroom, her stiffening up as soon as she hears about mission, carefully listening to him without reacting much.
The pain in her eyes as she sees Virat finally acknowledge the commitment that he has denied till now and aa she asks him if he is holding back only for her sake.
The restlessness in her body language as Virat questions her about deal marriage and how he means nothing to her.
Struggling to guard her emotions but they still betray her. And the way she finally bursts with her true feelings. Vulnerable, raw, honest.
And then the way she shows her concern for his safety and well-being. The tears and her voice as she tells him not to talk about dying, koi aur nahi jaa sakta...and the way she cutely bosses him saying aap kya rambo hai ya superman. She talks about the impact of him going on mission on his family in such a mature way. She was not trying to be unreasonable and oppose him but she made her point so logically abd eloquently. And very openly says with full conviction - haan mujhe farak padega. In all these scenes Ayesha modulated her voice to match the dialogues.
Ayesha Singh is SO amazing as Sai. Innocent, strong headed, obstinate, blunt, raw, vulnerable, straight forward, pure hearted and SO SO lovable.
Its a big deal for her to stand against such experienced actors like bharti ji, kishori ji, mitaali and neil and shine the way she does. She has managed to strike a chemistry with each of them. And she shows that she is learning and growing every single day.
Even in her scenes with harini - the child actor she is so natural.
More power to her! I hope she stays as humble, hardworking and positive as she is now. I hope she goes on to explore herself in many roles and shades.
