Per Capita income has dropped even lower than Bangladesh now. The ones who really prospered are the already rich ones in BJP's pocket like Ramdev, Adani and Ambani.

But regardless of that, nobody falls exactly into line no matter what your political ideology. I'm liberal myself but I can't stand woke cancel culture and this weird obsession with letting trans people into women's bathrooms and various other social aspects. But when the majority of your views fall onto one side, that is what you identify with.

I had so much high hopes from them in Meghalaya, but nah still the Hindus are living their with fear no progression or success, hence everybody is leaving Meghalaya to work outside. All of the idiots who voted for NPP(BJP's allies) thinking they would do something, have done nothing. Rather the hatred for non-locals have increased, and the discussion in the LA, have all been on about how to take away whatever remaining privileges Hindus have over here.

Bengalis were tortured last year, Sikhs before that. But no national news or the so called Godi media showed it.

In West Bengal, BJP workers are getting killed everyday but center doesn't seem to care apart from pesky tweets.

There are many BJP supporters who are pro choice, LGBTQ, don't mix the Hindu culture with Hindu religion, who have voiced against white supremacy, voiced against gun slavery in UP and Bihar and for inclusion of minorities rather than exclusion. Modi has become a personality now, no longer a politician. When I meant BJP has sold it's soul, I didn't meant Modi is taking money from corporate, but to maintian it's supremacy in poitics it is selling out with its policies and foundation.
