OFFSCREEN friendship/bonding or what they do behind the camera is not my point of contention. It affects every element ONSCREEN too though on what is allowed and/or not. Do not wish to argue, just making it crystal clear how such a trend makes it difficult for audience to place CERTAIN expectations and for crew to deliver them. It is not fair to demand when it is impossible owing to contractual obligations + propriety + societal sense. Has nothing to do with actor/actress personal choice or consent in their own lives.
Quoting and answering in a single reply since not able to tag you.
I think the audience is at fault when it comes to keeping expectations and demanding certain things. Otherwise it's all the show and its CVs' call whether or not they have any issue/awkwardness or if aren't being comfortable with their actors/crew. I definitely didn't know about 21 being the barrier age but I don't think the show has had any such moments as of now.
For me at least it's always been what I'm being shown as the audience and I've had absolute no interest in whatever that goes around in the making of the same. Hesitation/awkwardness does show up on camera I believe so it isn't hard to miss and we always have the option to quit. At least that's what I've always followed.
(Prior to the internet age, everyone was in the same boat and we wouldn't know a thing about off screen/personal details😆) Ignorance is bliss at times!
Sorry if my opinion offended you in any way. In the end we can always respect each others' POVs👍🏼 This isn't even the forum of the show we're talking about😆 I'm sure the said forum will be more interested in discussing on the same👍🏼
Hope you're having a fun time watching EDKV2😃
