Yes, actually! The other versions address the tension between Shiva and Dev in their own and unique way (even between Raavi and Dev). In this version, Shiva and Dev have a conversation where Dev apologizes for what he's done, but there is no apology directed towards Raavi just yet which we are all waiting to see. It's been a month since their wedding, as per dialogues from the characters, so it would be interesting to see how a conversation between Dev and Raavi would play out should the makers capitalize on that conversation. Though time passed, I would still like to see a conversation like that between them. It is much needed for growth--for Raavi to move on with her life and her relationship with Shiva, and for Dev to finally put his wedding in the past and focus on the future.
I know my predictions never come true and all, but it would be a beautiful scene to see Raavi and Dev talk about what's lost and what's to come for the future.
Imagine during the birthday party/puja, Dev notices the hesitance Raavi has whenever Shiva is around. He leaves Rishita's side and resolves to speak to Raavi, but Raavi explodes at him once she realizes what he is trying to do. She blames everything on Dev. Telling him that it is all his fault she is like his. That if he said no then she wouldn't be here in this loveless marriage, and that she will remember the "curse" that Dev placed on her for the rest of her life (heavy dialogues but this was the gist of the conversation between the Dev and Raavi counterparts in the Telugu version, I personally don't think Raavi would say anything about a 'curse' but I do hope she blames her misfortune on Dev. He kind of needs to hear this). Dev listens to everything patiently and silently, allowing Raavi to have all the time to pour out her thoughts. And then finally, he apologies to her and explains his side of the story to her. He tells her that he is in the wrong, but he also gives Raavi a brief glimpse of GauRa's relationship or his own relationship. Telling her that love is something fickle. Telling her that love can happen unexpectedly. He gave a slight preview of Shiva's actual personality post-kidnap scene, but I hope he expands more in this conversation. And I hope he can conclude the conversation by saying, "I know you this is not what you wanted. And I know I don't deserve any respect from you right now. But please, give my brother one last chance."
