What I wished Geet's ending was

Hey everyone, Merida here. I love GHSP but I do have some complaints but that's for another day. Here is my real complaint. Geet's writers have undoubtedly given us an amazing ending. But, I wished Maan had regained his memory. Yes he fell for her again but that intensity was never found again. Those circumstances that led to him loving Geet, possibly more than she could ever dream to love him were lost.

Yes they're happy together but I really wished Maan had regained his memory.

My ending: In the hospital Maan saw a fountain and instantly remembered everything that bound him to Geet, he regained his memory.

I like to think that Maan eventually got his memory and rushed towards Geet and hugged her so tightly.

Maan regaining his memory would have been the icing on the cake!

But creatives must have thought otherwise!

True, writers in Geet Forum write fantabulously!

And readers' reciprocation is also tremendous!

So we all should try and revive Geet and Maan as much as possible through our fanfictions!

I also feel something like that

I wish the same, though I feel it would have been better if the ML track itself had not been there..For all that had been passed a regain of memory is what was needed, it just feels incomplete without that.The writers on Geet forum have handled memory loss in much poignant and heart warming way..and made it feel complete..there was this remembrance story from Madhu..and another one from Kaamchorani, if I remember correctly, and some more stories of course.

True, it would've been better if they had skipped that one. The ML track didn't do anything for me which is saying a lot because that track was long. I didn't see any angst of Maan being in love with a "married" woman (and I really disliked Geet's clothes in that track), all the potentials were lost and the Maan from the 1st episodes was lost. Like the 1st Maan used to get annoyed at Geet but still not that annoyed and kinda enjoy it all, the ML Maan was downright hating every moment spent with Geet.

The passion was never found again. The intensity.

I saw a movie with a similar thing based off of a real life event but the difference was the person fell in love again because she started to live the life she had prior to losing her memory and went to create her own path, just like she initially did, and thus bumped into her ex husband and fell for him again.

in GHSP, Maan fell for Geet when she literally barged into his life, crumpled his arrogance, tried to leave him several times, made him fight for her and her life, made him smile again, made him love again, made him human again. She invaded his thoughts and he couldn't help himself from falling head over heels. Also scheming dadi helped and his urge to prove that she also loved him.

I couldn't find that in the ML track.

you said it all, it was not the same Maan. The CVs and overall circumstances the show went through had ruined it a lot. For me, Maaneet story ends before the ML track. 😊
