It also sounded like Amma might not have known what the neighbor had made his Naana do, as neither father nor son may have told her. Hearing about it, Raghav's actions might have made more sense to Amma. I'm so glad to see an MIL not consider her DIL an outsider, rather she chooses to tell her what is going on and even takes her suggestion. Very refreshing. Also, how cute was Pallavi telling Amma she was the best wife, and best MIL. These two are also forming a beautiful friendship where she can openly tell her things and talk about difficult topics that she probably couldn't with Ayi. I strongly feel that if she chooses to stay it won't be just for Raghav but also for Amma. She feels her pain too. ❤️

Another thing that is different on this show that Rao family isn't very big. There are only 3 people (excluding Pallavi), no useless side characters just to taunt leads

IKR. There's one part of me that honestly doesn't even care how the situation resolves. I'm just put off by the fact that the show went there. Characters are interesting when they're nuanced, this takes Vijay into such a in-your-face bad guy territory, no nuance left.

True.. actually for all the cribbing, loneliness, hatred , darkness in raghav’s life, farhad has really been a shining light for him all these years. His right-hand man, friend, confidant, moral compass( irrespective of whether raghav heeds to him or not) , cleans up his mess, . Farhad may be pissed off with raghav’s actions but he doesnt leave his side. Farhad is truly a gem. I would hate it if something happened to raghav-farhad bond. I hope the writers aint planning a farhad-keerthi union. It would just destroy their bond.

I would love it if raghav acknowledges it once through his dialogues that he is as much family as amma and keerthi are to him.I genuinely liked it that raghav lost his cool when pallavi’s father slapped farhad.

Ok this turned out to be a farhad appreciation post.. but he and krishna are two character who evoke such heart-warming response every single time. Touch wood though. Dont want to jinx it.

Absolutely, I loved that angst that Raghav pulled when Sanki slapped Farhad. He said, mere aadmi peh haath utaya. I would have loved if he had added or readdressed. Farhad mere bhai hai..bhai or jost se zyada badkar hai..He is/was and will be his family always. Pallavi already knows it and sees it. Hence she knows where to pull the plugs. @blue..lol..nazar only bad guys can cast on. yours is love and wishes..so nothing bad will happen to them.

Exactly, cant recall who mentioned, but said, Pallavi is happy. His response, wanted to punch him. Why should I care if she is happy or how can she be happy..something along those lines...I know it was today's episode, but hawa mei filter kar diya..Any elder or older sensible person, would infact leave people alone if they are married and living happily (regardless of grudge, crime). But here, this man is irredeemable.

Uff, yeah thank goodness for that. I hate the useless drama that those side characters bring.

@bold- I preferred yesterday's Raghav-Pallavi scene to today's. Today, he came across too overbearing. What did he want, he finishes telling that extremely painful story, and she goes, "Oh, BTW, Kirti's got a boyfriend. It's that mediocre tattoo artist/self-proclaimed love angel. Just FYI." As for her sharing her past, again, when? She told him, that she'll save that story for another day, mere hours ago?

I did like that she stood her ground though. She's not apologising for keeping Kirti's secret, even in light of the almost-running-away and his anger, which he's unfairly unloading on her, because she knows it was the right thing to do. Would Raghav share details of Farhad's private life with Pallavi just because they're married? Then why expect her to? Yes, it's complicated because Kirti is his sister, but just because they're married, even if she had fully accepted the relationship, doesn't mean all her other relations should revolve around him.

She also impressed me with her overall sane thinking today. When Kirti went missing, Farhad was absolutely the right person to call. He has the presence of mind, capability and resources to effectively track her down (though I'm guessing Raghav already had eyes on her, but still a good approach by Pallavi). And she told Jaya too. Again, a deviation from what I expect from TV show bahus- a usual FL would go off on a secret 'find Kirti' mission, with the agenda to bring her back home before anyone finds out, and then face the brunt of the fallout for trying to solve this alone.

Also deviated from the norm with her talk with Jaya. I am starting to like the Jaya-Pallavi dynamics. Pallavi never holds back from calling her out, be it today or be it for the wedding ultimatum. But Pallavi does it in such a respectful and dignified manner, that Jaya also always responds receptively, and even respects her right to an opinion as a member of the family, like when she was hyperventilating today, and Pallavi apologised for bringing up the trauma, she instantly went "No, it's okay" even in that state, and further asked her thoughts, and listened to what she said. Great saas-bahu dynamics, love to see it.

Agree, he was overbearing yet he was still self-aware, that he was cribbing and expecting too much from her too soon. I think he's also at the end of his tether. Can you blame him? He's mentally exhausted from pushing uphill all the time, and to be repeatedly misunderstood and blamed for every issue under the sun is wearing him out.

I think Raghav understood her need to give her friendship the respect and importance it deserves. We know that he loves and gives unconditionally, but it's human nature to want a little affection or at least acknowledgement of one's efforts. He gets none. Forget being top priority, he feels he doesn't even feature on their lists. That's gotta sting. The underlying message is: Do I not deserve a little bit of care, a little bit of focus at least?

I am concerned Raghav may suffocate Pallavi if he doesn't realize he will always have to share her with others, because being the good woman she is, she will bond with and care for his family and with her ex-in-laws. The thing is, she doesn't have a messed up equation with them because they never hurt her, hence she starts from an already more solid position in her relationship with them. With Keerti, she's known her for a while and has shared some major secrets with her. I agree, Farhad is that person for Raghav but he's an employee at the end of the day so there is a line that won't be crossed.

I am glad to see positive saas-bahu dynamics in such an explicit way. I love that they can talk to each other openly and that Pallavi doesn't need to worry about what Amma will think of her when bringing up sensitive topics. I love that Amma is open-minded enough to accept that a younger person may be able to provide guidance when an older person is stuck or confused about how to handle things. Also, she never doubts Pallavi's innate goodness or her intentions behind doing certain things.

@bold- tabhi toh yahaan Pallavi ke maayke ke itne fans bane pade hain.

Honestly, I'm glad Raghav isn't winning this challenge. First, I just want Pallavi away from the Deshmukhs, so yay. Second, I think it's a good lesson for him also- stubbornness, will-power and resources can only take you that far. Some things require efforts from both ends, and even Raghav Rao can't steamroll people into feeling a different way when there is no desire to reciprocate from that end. It's a lesson he should learn from the Deshmukhs, and apply to his dynamic with Jaya and Kirti.

Agree, it's good for him to realize that he can't force things, especially people, beyond a certain point. Not just that, he has to realize that sometimes letting go is the best option and doesn't make you a quitter. Sometimes fate has other things planned for you - he alluded to it when he talked about the steering wheel being in God's hands.

Micro tantrum!

I love him in that mode, though. He's so cute and being a typical husband here. Only wives can deal with this kind of thing and Pallavi will get used to it. I like it that she doesn't take him too seriously after a point, it's important for her sanity. 😆

Its usually farhad who seems to tapko in moments like these and raghav shares his bhadaas. But today he wasnt there. He tried to get shri to sit and talk with him but then he goes away saying he has his wife waiting for him. And then pallavi enters literally saying aa bell mujhe maar😂

i quite liked this scene. Much more than the earlier one in the room. He was angry then and was unnecessarily directing disappointment towards pallavi which i felt was wrong. but here his anger had pretty much sobered down. And his rational thinking also had kicked in. He understood why pallavi couldnt share with him. He understood her loyalty towards keerthi. He also understood that pallavi is not in the same headspace as him with regards to relationship when he says u can continue to nibhao relationships as u like and he will not say anything meaning he knows he has no right to interfere.

I think in general he understood even amma and keerthi. When he says amma wants to nibhao r’ship with keerthi. He wasnt really off the mark since in the morning amma is thinking ek nalayak bete ke liye did i just let go of my layak beti ke saath rishta.

I felt he probably understood keerthi’s love as well.

But like he said he was cribbing. And he knew it.

Totally agree with everything you said here, especially the part in bold.
