If it were real life, I would have suggested ShiVi to move to a separate place, away from these lunatics until they sort their relationship and decide what they want to do with it.

I think when she brought up Suman is when he lost it and then he crossed the line. Whenever she has insulted his family he has lost it and then add that with the kangans he saw red. His nerves were already raw and then maami went full nuclear with her words. If he knew the reason he might not have made that vow
