God that sindoor track. It is commendable ki we actually went through that and came out relatively sane at the end of it all. Such darkness Malini is that we are still trying to find a flicker of light till date. Imagine wanting and wishing for a Nishant track 😆

Aur yeh kya hai empowered and progressive woman’s journey. The entire character is a slap in the face of a self-respecting woman lekin bas bolte raho I’m very well educated and I am trying to set things right because I now know the truth. Aditya told her the truth in the beginning. Tab kahaan gayi empowerment. She took Imlie under her wing or atleast acted like it and then literally stepped all over her by dragging her around, yelling at her and screaming that she’s a naukrani. Called her husband a womanizer and said Imlie is his mistress. The sadness that she wrought upon Imlie at the start of that sindoor track is still visible on her face. Although the jail business seems to have just woken up pretty much everyone. Even if we want to wipe all this away, why pull the kind of stunts that she’s currently doing instead of telling the truth? Acknowledge hi nahin karna hai ki her husband does not love her. I have no idea what is so progressive about this character. She is a leech and she will continue to be a leech sucking blood out of everyone she comes in contact with.

Until the makers decide to actually redeem her, I’m just not interested. I will take whatever respite we get from everyone disliking her in the interim. Waise bhi zyada din nahin milega yeh intermission.

Darling yeh ITV and most importantly gul ka empowerment hai wih Gul jo aaj bhi stories post kar rahi hai ke bas jeans pehani bahu means she is empowered and progressive isse zyada ab kya bolein...lol so much for empowerment and progressive bas fancy sari pehan lena is not empowerment what about her gandi soch bas uppar se token sorry sorry kehke wohi baatein repeat karne se kuch nahi badalta.. the thing is her token attempts are even more useless caz she doesn't change as a person itna sa bhi and changes her harkatein ya toh ek din hi practice kar lia jare she doesn't do a thing toh kya main sirf yahan bakwaaaa cringe awaaaz sunane bhaithi hoon kya.. sorrynotsorry

Imlie’s “my family” declaration and Aparna registering it is significant not just for whatever equation she is going to end up sharing with the Tripathis or for her to recognize her place within them. It is again a contrast that the audience does not need but highlight karna zaroori hai kuch logon ke liye - Malini was with Aditya 7 years and married to him but never once called them hers. They were always “his family”. Imlie will happily state it out loud for anyone to hear even without the real relationship even being recognized. And more importantly actually act like they are her family. Behavior that Malini could never gin up while she walked out on them, allowed her mother to insult them constantly, aired her dirty laundry in front of them or did not care enough to inquire after them when they were jailed.

Her apologies are ALWAYS token, man......after the sindoor tamasha where she tortured Imlie so much, next morning her so called "apology" to Imlie was just an afterthought after she had wheeled her suitcase out to the main hall in the process of leaving the house. Then again, after she learnt that her mom had hit Imlie to the point of drawing blood, her first meeting with Imlie after Imlie returned back to T house didn't involve any apology.....she instead apologized to T family😕😆. To now this incident.....lol she learnt that her mom JAILED her so called beloved in-laws but did Didi call or reach out to ask their haal chaal that day? Nope.....the next day, she's taking her own sweet time to remove sindoor/MS and is more focused on Adityaaaaa ka birthday😆. Family ko token apology she will only give after she sees them again.....lol warna she isn't going to T house to apologize for her mom....she's gone to deliver the divorce news and show her mahaanta to Adi-Imlie😆.

This is the woman they want us to sympathize with.....lol sure sure.

Malini couldn't manage to truly make Ts her family - either in words or actions. While Imlie has always shown it in her actions and is now acknowledging it more assertively in her words too....that confidence is settling in her.

Wohi toh....Mom ke saamne itna tamasha kar liya ki "How could you, Mom" but what after that? You claim you really loved this family, they supported you so much......but did you bother to find out woh ghar kaise pahunche and how they are coping with being put through this? lol your Mom told you Imlie got them released so that was enough? 😆......

This very characteristic of Malini where she can only show some regard for people if they INCIDENTALLY show up in front of her.....like Imlie ko apology after sindoor tamasha was only cuz IMLIE came to her and was trying to stop her from leaving the house😆, and now this so called "apology" to Ts only cuz woh saamne dikh gaye in the house - warna milne toh Adityaaa se aayi to show her "bravery" in smiling about divorce ki good news😆......amazing aurat hai😆

Exactly. She’s a one-note character that has barely evolved even after knowing Adi-Imlie’s truth. Her actions are still the same - floundering, immature and put on.

She’s just started lying more than before. Lol can we count that as “empowered growth”? 🤷‍♀️😂

So it’s beyond hilarious to me when they try to project her as “educated/empowered” woman in IVs😆…she’s literally done nothing that can qualify under those categories, but her polished appearance gives her cover to claim anything 🤷‍♀️.

I think than in any other version of this show here makers have deliberately take steps to show this characters fault. Starting from the initial episodes it self the character is very shallow. Important event shown was adhithya try come clean and she cannot withstand it … but any prudent mind will reiterate what he said… but conveniently Malini doesn’t do that…by showing this while confessing truth about marriage Adhithya was not much questioned … and clearly this paved Adhithya to be not blamed completely for wrong doing to some extent. And she was happy that adhithya always taunts imlie . In mehendi function episode she said she is happy that adhithya and her mom agreed in one thing that imlie will not apply mehendi. Little she know that both are saying same thing but intentions was different. She clearly doesn’t like adhithya’s inclination towards imlie but she doesn’t have guts to question him at any point. Many situations Anu insulted tripathi’s but none of that time she apologised to them. Actually it’s better if Malini will get detached from T family otherwise she will always be there in life of adhithya and imlie as sword of damocles. Thanks for the jail drama and all .. But I am afraid of the situation when imlie is getting to know the truth about step sister relationship.
