Hahah right😆 she was like damn am funny in unscripted 🤣 this was actually so funny and came in such a flow ke automatic hi smile nikal aaye kisi ki bhi haha. I'm finding it hilarious to read ki in the beginning the show was supposedly about "women empowerment" but it was later "changed" into being a "romantic" story for Imlie😆.....jo literally epi 1 se "Piya tose milne" baj raha hai, woh kya Nakli Naani ke liye baj raha tha phir?😆

The mental gymnastics people go through to not see what's right in front of their noses about this show all along.....lol amazing😆. This is Imlie's journey....which includes everything from her education, her identity, her marriage, her love.....there is no one note to it....jinko abhi bhi nahin samajhna, woh unki problem *shrugs*

Haha yes, Imlie ko roasting ki permission hai cuz this is the one way atleast that she gives him ATTENTION na😆.....warna toh woh bhi mar marke milti hai Imlie se Babusahib ko😆.....pun intended on mar marke :P

They are just so heartwarming yaar.....jab aise scenes milte hain, toh inki value phir se feel hone lagti hai after such a long period of pakaaoing from the makers😆......all we need is these two smiling with each other and lagta hai sab sahi hai😆

+1 to all what you said and loved the NN bit. What really surprises me is when people still feel like the story is a romance. Matlab like BS says "Seriously" (wish I had a gif to insert here if him saying it). The story in its essence has always been about Imlie and her story. Even if you look at woman empowerment, that is still visible here because the makers have shown the strength that a 18 year old girl from a village can have to not only take a forced marriage in her stride, but deal with any situation life throws at her, be it in the form of BS, AC, Malini or even the T family. She has managed all these and in the process found her strength, support and soulmate in the form of Aditya. Again here her connect with him is more than just being married to him, bith of them understand each other so we'll ke bheed main bhi ek dusre ko bhamp dete hai. Anyone who says otherwise is either watching the show with blinders on, or refusing to see the nuances built up over these 180+ episodes. And this show is for neither of those people. I said the same in another post, that people judging the show on few scenes and episodes without the correct context are doing themselves injustice because they are missing the joy we felt of the journey taken by this young, beautiful, carefree, spirited girl from her small unknown villiage to being an equal partner and support for someone who at one time belived her to be the root cause of all his problems. This is their story, but this is also her story of becoming a better and more confident version of herself. The story is of woman empowerment, just sometimes people forget whose story it actually is.

Loved the episode today. T-fam is such a warm and heartwarming bunch.

Episode began with t-fam discussing the trauma of going to jail. I loved BK's dialogue that its easy to buy diamonds with money but to earn respect takes hard work and perseverance. But its so easy to lose this hard earned respect. Imlie displayed wisdom beyond her years and tells them that their hard earned respect cannot be lost over the petty act of a conniving woman. I loved how family thanked her for saving them and acknowledged that it could not have been easy for her. I loved how Imlie says that they are her family and whatever she did was for her own family. I think it struck Aparna for the first time that Imlie means it when she calls them her family and can go to any extent for them. Bechare BS is guilty that family had to experience this traumatizing experience because of him. He says that neither the divorce nor the jail trip are because of Malini. Mrs C is angry with him and taking revenge on his family. He apologizes and leaves.

Suddenly Rupi ko yaad aaya that its Aditya's birthday tomo. Nishant says no one is mood to celebrate right now. Imlie spreads her sunshine and warmth over the fam.

I LOVED her dialogue: Dukh saal mein 200 baar awat hai, par janam din ek hi baar awat hai. Aur jab hume bahana mila khushi manane ka. hum ika kahe chode? Hum is bahane ka pura faida utayenge.

Family promptly gets excited to plan Aditya's surprise b'day party and Imlie wonders if Aditya will smile on his birthday or remain an akdoo. Thus she begins her mission to make Aditya smile and to make his birthday memorable.

Next day Sundar and Aparna seemed happy and excited as they went about their daily chores. Especially Sundar. Then walks in our akdoo kumar tripathi totally clueless that its his birthday 😆. Aparna informs him that everyone is having BF in hall. Aditya wonders if there is anything special. And sundar quite mischeviously says you tell me if there is anything special today. Aditya grumbles that Sundar is giving him a headache and pata nai kaunse muhurat pe tume utake laaye. Sundar grins in response😆.

This guy really really is so sweet. I mean the way he treats the family, becomes happy in their khushi and feels with them when sad. He has no malice in his heart.T-fam is lucky to have him.

Then began my favorite scene of the day!!

Aditya walks into the hall catches fam smiling at him weirdly and wonders if there is anything on his shirt😆. Taiji says they are waiting for him to watch the TV. I was lol at his aap kabse tv dekhne ke liye humara wait karne lage. Aap toh hume remote chune nai deti. BK says radhaji will give the remote into your hands today, come sit with us. This makes Aditya wonder if everyone is down with some strange disease😆. Bk and ck cutely pull him and make him sit right in b/w them.

Aditya notices the dabba in front of him and is shocked that his family wants to watch news. Though he finds it childish, he decides to play along for his family's happiness. God he is soo grumpy. He switches on the TV and up pops imlie with a "jai sita maiyyaki". Aditya says imlie and sighs his why am i not surprised sigh 😆.

I loved Aditya's expression when imlie calls him mahaan akdoo. Imlie notices and immediately amends "mahaan serious patrakar sri sri sri Aditya kumar Tripathi ka janam din hai". Realization dawns on Aditya's face. Imlie continues to list how people decided to remain akdoo for a day, how shop keepers decided not to sell samosas wrapped in news paper, how overweight people decided to eat Adi roti instead of puri. She cutely pats on her back for her great sense of humor and draws reluctant smiles from Aditya. Mission successful. She is such a GIFT to aditya. I mean what ever troubles he has, however sad he is, she has the key to make him smile. Make him connect with his family. Make everyone around happy.

Then family proceeds to sing happy birthday to Adi. I was awww at how excitedly BK asks Adi to touch elders feet and take blessings. He gets such warm, and heartfelt blessings and wishes from everyone. The cake cutting scene was so heartwarming.It is soo good to see Aditya smiling happily😃. For once I am not going to ask who blasted the confetti😆. This was a scene of total domestic bliss❤️

LMAO I'm belatedly remembering the threads from before this Hyd track where you always used to get hopeful about Nishant ka leukemia revelation 😆.....lekin milta kuch nahin tha.....haha

The show has done such dimaag ka dahi with Didi overload in the last 2-3 months that even us avid watchers have forgotten half the plot points😆.....matlab last time the threads had some cohesion and momentum was before the sindoor tamasha.....I remember just feeling so drained out by the sindoor tamasha episodes....in some ways we never recovered from that😆.

Which is why I find it funny ki logon ko Didi ke woh sab kaand itni aasaani se bhool jaate hain when she bahaaoes two bechaargi waale aansu toh people think ab woh "mature" ho gayi and will "move on" from Adityaaa😆

The dhuaan was absolutely for Didi.....lol Adi-Imlie ko toh waise bhi apne koi romantic moments barely yaad rehte hain🤣.....buried alive hugs/kisses ka bhi kuch yaad nahin.....lol but Didi ke liye hi shoot kiya woh artistic shoulder kiss.....lol she will keep getting a FB of that on repeat😆.....they are trying to spin it as "aurat ka dard" type of thing ki seeing Adi show his love for Imlie is giving Didi dard.....lol we may have felt her dard if our memories still weren't sharp enough about all the bakwaas she talked about Imlie and the clear jealousy that is definitely simmering inside somewhere just waiting to come out someday again.....lol it's not just going to be jealousy of Imlie receiving Adi's love like Malini never did....aur bahut cheezon pe sadegi yeh long term in twisted taunts cuz she can't stand Imlie getting attention over her.

Adi didn't even need to say it to Malini that he never really loved her.....his actions show it clearly enough, but Malini still acts like seeing him expressing his love for Imlie is some breaking news to her😆.....he literally EXPLICITLY told her he doesn't consider her his wife and even then she's acting like woh iska pati hai but kisi aur ko romance kar raha hai😆.....wohi forced attempt hai to make it seem like Adi is betraying her when he's literally told her his POV at every point as he understood it. She's the one who twists everything into wanting to act like a bechaari. I mean the guy literally told you he doesn't consider you his wife but you kept wearing uske naam ka MS/sindoor for SO many days after that also....lol didn't even leave his house until your MIL told you to leave😆....then kept wearing this even as you claimed you had another BF😆....but yes sure, please do tell us how YOU are the one in dard here.

All day long bas iske so called dard pe thesis likhte rahein, meanwhile the girl who has literally gone through life and death SO many times and bore pain beyond anything Malini can even imagine.....uska dard kya halwa hai? 😆......My funda is simple....if you want sympathy, have some dignity in your conduct.....warna maaf karo. I have no patience for pretentious types.

God that sindoor track. It is commendable ki we actually went through that and came out relatively sane at the end of it all. Such darkness Malini is that we are still trying to find a flicker of light till date. Imagine wanting and wishing for a Nishant track 😆

Re threads: exactly. The moment didi took over, even the threads got hazy. Koi nahin bacha unki harkaton ke aftereffects se.

Aur yeh kya hai empowered and progressive woman’s journey. The entire character is a slap in the face of a self-respecting woman lekin bas bolte raho I’m very well educated and I am trying to set things right because I now know the truth. Aditya told her the truth in the beginning. Tab kahaan gayi empowerment. She took Imlie under her wing or atleast acted like it and then literally stepped all over her by dragging her around, yelling at her and screaming that she’s a naukrani. Called her husband a womanizer and said Imlie is his mistress. The sadness that she wrought upon Imlie at the start of that sindoor track is still visible on her face. Although the jail business seems to have just woken up pretty much everyone. Even if we want to wipe all this away, why pull the kind of stunts that she’s currently doing instead of telling the truth? Acknowledge hi nahin karna hai ki her husband does not love her. I have no idea what is so progressive about this character. She is a leech and she will continue to be a leech sucking blood out of everyone she comes in contact with.

Until the makers decide to actually redeem her, I’m just not interested. I will take whatever respite we get from everyone disliking her in the interim. Waise bhi zyada din nahin milega yeh intermission.

I knew she would use that as an excuse to come there and do some - Yeh sab mere mom ne kiya. Maine kuch nahin kiya bechargi nautanki. God, I’m just glad she’s getting the treatment she deserves for disrespecting them so many times.

Imlie’s “my family” declaration and Aparna registering it is significant not just for whatever equation she is going to end up sharing with the Tripathis or for her to recognize her place within them. It is again a contrast that the audience does not need but highlight karna zaroori hai kuch logon ke liye - Malini was with Aditya 7 years and married to him but never once called them hers. They were always “his family”. Imlie will happily state it out loud for anyone to hear even without the real relationship even being recognized. And more importantly actually act like they are her family. Behavior that Malini could never gin up while she walked out on them, allowed her mother to insult them constantly, aired her dirty laundry in front of them or did not care enough to inquire after them when they were jailed.
