I generally skip family scenes and only focus on lead couple ones when I start a serial half way. If I like the serial a lot, I'll then go back and watch episodes in greater detail to get an idea of the story. Like if you started now, Daadi appears evil, but she was very pro-Ishqi in the first couple of episodes!

Me too. I don't like family drama. I only watch the scenes of the leads couple. It does not matter if the shows are Indian or American
