Farooq entered as a Villain in Vashmay story, he wanted to marry Vashma, she refused and told she in love with someone else. However, Vashma's family members threatened her and got her married. Before Farooq and Vashma's marriage, Vashmay already had a private storeroom marriage and consummated. So Vashma didn't even allow Farooq to touch her told him she is pregnant. This made Farooq want to seek revenge from Udaya and in return of Vashma he wanted Amrit to be his wife and give him kids😆. So Farooq used partition as a cover to kidnap Amrit on her wedding day. He kept Udaya's sister, mother and Vashma in captive. R and Udaya saved them.
V is totally different character wise, Farooq didn't have a back story while V has. Farooq was a creep. Most importantly A used to detest F. She even injured his face when he tried to come closer to her and we all know what happens between AmVeer 🤣
