And with every episode, it's getting clear why Purvi is Mukhi's soulmate and not Sakshi.
Sakshi was not only Mukhi's first wife, but his once lover also. So, in terms of being the true wife, she definitely had some bonus weightage over Purvi to begin with, when her character was first introduced(coming alive).
Then as the time progressed,we saw her to be less-witted, delusional, a bit materialistic and lost in her own world. But still she was tolerable and relatable to some extent because she was assumed to be very much in love with her husband. Somewhere, there was a feeling of empathy, however little it might be, for the wife who was nothing but just a victim of the fate.
But today, she has completely lost that empathy towards her. I am utterly shocked to see how she emotionally blackmailed the two lovers whose only fault seems to be that they are selfless. And that highlights how selfish Sakshi herself is! Actually, in the times of crisis like this, the true traits of one's character actually gets revealed. Today I even doubt whether she actually loves Mukhi or not. Because when she herself knows that she is the wall between the two lovers, she acts like she just doesn't care! She just wants her married husband, be him without his heart. Today she totally failed as a soulmate and thus she lost the right to be his wife. And Purvi, on the other hand, proved once again that she doesn't need the socially-accepted-title of "the wife", but she will always remain his soulmate.
