They chose Ahaan because they know Ahaan is too sanskari to do anything with Rhea so her secret would be safe

There are too many predictions going on about Rhea's character...

But I still.. At least till yesterday's episode, think she might behave gray but she won't be a complete black character.

This could be right as Rheas mum was very vague (though tone was weird aisa kaun baat karta hai if @bold is right).

Although, I kinda hope its something else (something grey not black) cause I am not in the mood to sympathize with Rhea. Ishqi par taras khake thak chuki hoon main. Aur ab AVM bhi line mein hain viewers se sympathy lene ke liye (bahut royega ab se).

Lekin woh bhi kaafi smart nikhli that way😆 She didn't react until it was absolutely necessary. She deemed ignorance as Mayank-Ishqi wedding was in the picture and she had nothing to fear. Nahi toh kuch grey shades khud hi ke actions se help in the otherwise dormant feelings btw the leads😆

Even as stuff goes on, she isn't keen on marrying Ahaan now that the more important things can be felt staunchly. She knows it's a marriage of convenience.
