Tabu or Vidya: The better actress?

Both are good actresses but Vidya doesn't have the charm or charisma that Tabu has. Tabu is a more versatile actress.

Vidya is good, but I don't think shes on the same league of Tabu. Tabu is something else.

There is something magical about Tabu.

While Vidya is a naturally gifted, great actress too, she doesn't have that touch of magic the way Tabu does.

For sure! With Tabu you can't help but sit up and pay attention. It's her screen presence + acting. Vidya only has the acting; she doesn't command the screen like Tabu.

Tabu can do comedy which I have yet to see vidya master

She also has the edge over vidya when it comes to intense roles….

Tabu also has more arresting a screen presence …like ur eyes go straight to her in a frame and ignore everybody else

While Vidya is a good and talented actress, but her tendency to overact and be repetitive is high. It is especially evident with the more movies she does.

Both are fab but I would go with Tabu!

I also thought Tabu was the best until Tumhari Sulu happened. I mean look at that movie man. Any lesser actor than Vidya, it would’ve been a guaranteed snoozefest but Vidya made the movie not just bearable but also entertaining.

I love Vidya, but Tabu is more versatile and is able to convey subtleties in her characters very well.

Definitely Vidya for me. They are both limited in different ways but I can't think of a single Tabu role that Vidya couldn't have carried beautifully. I grew up watching Tabu romance so I know I hated her in those movies. Tabu couldn't do a parineeta well.
