I didn't get the chance to read all the posts on this thread. Just the last few pages... Just throwing this out there:
To me, isn't it just that Sai is fed up? She kept this secret for a long time.
She can't just out Pakhi without outing Virat because what Virat set up earlier in their marriage contributed to why Pakhi is just as confused and now creating problems (although idk, why she can't take a hint).
So if she needs to call Pakhi out (as I think she should because how else she going to defend herself from Pakhi always turning the situation around on her and thus igniting the whole family), Virat is naturally going to be a part of that too. If she exposes Pakhi, Virat will have to get exposed. They were the ones that started this.
Do I think its wise? Not really because she is going to hurt Virat. At the same time, what else did Virat expect from her? Virat hasn't yet denied his feelings for Pakhi or reassured Sai that it's over now. Even when she ranting at night about his promises - instead of directly correcting her, he just goes "what are you talking about?" like dude, speak clearly for once. They talk in circles (although I guess blame that on ITV show runners lol). Virat hasn't necessarily taken back his promise so why should Sai not be suspicious?
Is it because she keeps threatening to leave? Is it not obvious she's doing that so she doesn't get hurt by him? So she doesn't fall deeply in love without it being reciprocated? Who would want to stay in that house anyway LOL. But wanting to get out doesn't automatically negate her feelings. Emotions and human relationships are not so black and white.
Sai has a lot of faults, and all characters are hypocritical at some point, but to my knowledge, Virat hasn't directly dealt with the issue at hand and he just lets Sai deviate from clearing the issue or he himself gets angry and walks away.
When she found them on the patio and ran out, instead of asking Sai what she heard, he should've just openly said what they were discussing. He keeps trying to act as if the girl he was talking about when they first got married was not Pakhi. IDK why he can't admit it to Sai and then be like you know, I was wrong, I was never really in love with her.
But then the drama would be over. LOL.
