most probably they cut such scenes for time limit of the epi n all, they may be felt that would look random

Aditya is an ullu and malini is a pagal aurat.

Aditya is extremely impulsive. In his single minded focus to claim imlie as his wife, he is ignoring whatever guilt/ responsibility he feels towards Malini. He sub-consciously knows that Malini is lying but he is not consciously able to accept it because he is scared of the truth's implications on his relation with Imlie. Though imlie's didi jaap is unbearable, she is right. Aditya needs to free himself of the past baggage before he commits to Imlie. Also hidden in imlie's didi jaap are her own insecurities:

1) I am with Imlie when she says you could be wrong about loving me. You said you loved malini. Your definition of love changed. Whats the guarantee it wont change in future?

I know Aditya loves her immensely and was ready to be buried alive for the wrongs he committed. But Imlie also suffers from abandonment issues. Its not easy for her to trust him.

Did Aditya in past not claim just as fervently that he loved didi. Did imlie not witness all the PDA? Now why should Imlie trust Aditya's words so easily? Even if she trusts him, how can she feel secure his feelings wont change in future?

Right now I feel imlie is in T-house because she trusts her love for Aditya more than her trust in Aditya's love for her.

Aditya is in a more secure place. He knows Imlie loves him and believes in his own love for Imlie. His only problem is to get imlie to accept her feelings verbally.

He tried to convince Imlie to trust his love for her. But was that enough? Did Imlie acquiesce because she did not want to see him in pain or because she truly trusts his love?

2) I am again with Imlie when she feels inadequate about herself and insecure about taking didi's place in T-fam. given how t-fam always put Malini on pedestal and claimed Aditya got lucky with Malini. Aditya is extremely clueless about these insecurities.

Now as per the new promo, Aditya gives imlie an ultimatum to choose. Imlie might choose him because she fears losing him. And the above issues might be brushed under the carpet.

Aditya is going to be buried under a mountain of guilt after Malini's fake BF truth is revealed. He will definitely put her on pedestal.

With his goal of getting imlie to accept her feelings fulfilled he will set out to right his wrongs with Malini. This is going to create insecurity and trust issues in Imlie.

How i wish we get a decent conversation between Aditya and Imlie about where they stand and what they want instead of ultimatums/dances.

Word to your points and I truly side with Imlie...as she said that she doesnt expect loyalty and she herself is enough for this rishta...although we saw her flip on that stance during the C house episode, I do identify how being enough for her rishta didnt give her trust issues, it is BS getting on the other side of the rishta which created havoc in her mind....

Aditya will never be Dev. Aditya truly loves imlie. What ever he might show malini will be concern at general level. But enough to trigger imlie's insecurities.

+1 to everything you just said. +Bold - This was exactly what concerned me when I first saw the promo. While I understand, that with her current status an ultimatum like this is what will help shake her to help line up her priorities, I worry that the choice may be made more out of fear of losing Adi rather than being ready to actually be able to nibhao that rishta at this point of time. Imlie till now has always handled things on her own, and continues to do so even when Adi wants to be her partner. Her flip towards doubting Adi's intentions a few episodes back was because she felt that he promised to be with her and chose Malini at a time she felt she needed him the most. The last time she had suffered at the C house, he had come riding to save her, despite not being called. She expected that when there was no acknowledgement of a rishta he cared more for her rather than when he established a rishta with her, yet could not save her from the abandonment of the T family & the abuses of the C family. That one low point of hers had her question all what had happened earlier, not considering that she pushed him away, as she felt that even when she had pushed him away many times earlier, he was always there to save her from the world.

Now that Adi is ready to take the relationship ahead, she has to deal with having a partner to whom she is both answerable and who expects her to fulfill her duties as a wife. That scares her more than anything, because I dont think se is ready for that yet. She was still okay with maintaining a one-sided relationship, because that would be on her terms. Here facing the prospect of stepping into a relationship with Adi in front of the world, after they have seen him with Malini, frightens her. While we as viewers have understood that Malini and Adi have never been a good fit as a couple, and even Adi has understood that he never felt the feelings of love for Malini the way he feels for Imlie, Imlie herself has never seen or experienced those cracks independent from her. She thinks that they were perfect as a couple and that Malini was the best fit for both Adi and the T family.

The only fight AM had during their marriage that did not involve Imlie was the one where AC had sent the car for Malini, where also Imlie felt that Adi was mad at Malini because he was removing his anger that he had for Imlie regarding the sindoor saga. So until Imlie does not fully understand and internalize that Adi & Malini's relationship would have had issues and was not perfect even if she had not come in Adi's life, her insecurities and fears are not going to go away.

The issue here is that the makers in showing Malini's love story or her mahaanta or Imlie's mahaant are losing the essence of the series that got us hooked in the first place. The Adilie conversations which had layers and references which connected them and helped us connect with them is what is missing since the suicide saga. If they are able to get that back in anyway, only then will we be able to get back the show that we are sorely missing right now.
