Your example would hold up if the other person in this equation was not Malini......Adi's issues with Prakash are very different from the issues regarding Malini and Imlie.....and I think it's very twisted to first claim faith and confidence in someone and then claim insecurities later....if that's the Imlie they are going for, I'm deffo going to feel disconnected.

Your post reminds me of a dialogue I once heard. A couple true test is in the mundane. It is always easier to maintain a connect with your partner when you have a life and death situation or NDE or feel like you are going to lose that person. But when you have to face day-in and day-out normal mundane situations with that same person, that is when your relationship is put to the actual test. That is when your compatibility is actually put to test. Until Imlie does not face that kind of situation she will never understand the importance of Adi in her life. I agree that Imlie is trying to escape as much as possible to face the inavitible point in their journey where she will have to accept that her relationship can exist only if AM relationship is dealt with and moved one. And this will lead to Malini being hurt, as AM do not work together as a couple. Till then yeh mahaan aatma will have her head firmly in the sand and not want to face the truth.

As for the disconnect, woh toh mujhe last full mahine se lag rahi hai in Imlie's character, but I am willing to write it off as her being like the confused 19 year old who does not want to accept that she has to deal with this situation differently than she has managed her problems before. Baaki toh hopefully Sita Maiyya sambhal legi.

I think in this scenario Adhi by siting compactability issue and move on is not possible… since it will be a final blow to the self confidence of Malini. If he say anything about it this will surely affect her future relationship also. We can accept the fact that our partner moved on to other person… but how we feels he comes and point out our negative sides and says this is why I moved on. If he going to point out there negative side Malini will badly injured. So it better to speak on a surface side. But I disagree in one point that he must not have dragged imlie’s name. He can say only of me you have suffered. In matter of differences in opinion and all can be discussed when ever there is not a 3rd person in scene.

And also adhi doesn’t want everyone to think that he fall for imlie due to Ema of his wife.

He always know Malini is step sister of imlie , even though if imlie doesn’t accept Dev bonding imlie share with Malini may be continue in future….I a way he have to face Malini in future as sister-in-law or friend. But anyway it’s better Malini be away from adhithyas and imlie life .

Adhithyas decision to move on with imlie will not flip in any ways. And also if KC exists or not he is not going to effect anyway… he only needs to convince imlie. And surely he don’t like any kind of her interference with his and imlie’s life…

He thinks Malini’s lie will overshadow his truth of imlie being his first wife and his love.

Imlie ko bantering scenes dusro ke saath dete hain instead of Adi.....lol but that doesn't automatically create a vibe IMO. ST is always good in the bubbly scenes cuz it comes naturally to her....but as a character, I was bored by Kunal and I could barely keep my focus on what they were talking about cuz I was still trying to recover from the level of bakwaas I had to heard Adi-Imlie speaking to each other today.....lol

Jab Adi-Imlie theek rahein, toh hi baaki sab bhi theek lagta hai.....the epi started off ok but nosedived pretty fast as Adi flipped so much over Malini taking the full blame of the breakup on herself and then the rest was all about propping up Malini extensively in every manner.....family ke reactions were all all over the place....and then end mein KC ki propping up by showing his "bonding" with Imlie.....lol

The very fact that they've cast such a chomu actor for this role can only mean two things😆.....ya toh the character won't last very long or the quality of the show will nosedive big time since he will become a main parallel character owing to being attached to Didi who is the QUEEN of this show afterall😆

Imlie is my main connect to this show & if she is only not going to be clear with what she wants then how am I supposed to support her? There wa one character Adi who was kept consistent in his stand. Today he was also conveniently messed up to prop Didi.

Love each point but the piont in bold holds ❤️. She needs to decide and take a stand for we connect with her and through her we want to much more. Sorry but the writers have seen many times we viewers want to see these real issues between them hence we connected with the show and the track.

it was also the very fact we all rooted for the satyakaam track for he represented justice and truth. But it was simple we supported his resolve to make a choice and see the one that had hurt his child punished.

This time I am no longer sure what Aditya can do to make her see that either way the road ain’t going for be easy but at least they both will be free rl decide what they want next.

The whole issues of making sure didi is okay also is lame because we all now on reality nobody has that much time to worry about others. We have seen Maline for whom she is and her acts that have followed once more show it’s more about how the comes out of this relationship then anything else.

The whole concept of rights and possession is something that doesn’t belong to her but imlie and Aditya alone. Her focus should be on her parting and her resolve to move on.

It’s like all those promises she made last week of getting imlie her haq how about she focuses on showing us this by setting things in motion with her father. Then I will believe what she says. Her words are as hollow as her acts itself.

Imlie doesn’t need her for this she has been thought better it’s just she is naive to certain issues I feel.
