I think Aditya will still say he is repulsed etc., if Malini is his wife. When it suits her, Adi is a dhokebaaz or pities her....when it suits her, Adi should maintain "gehra rishta" with Malini cuz she has no problems with their past😆. This makes Imlie's stances and principles sound hollow wherein she has no faith in her relationship with Adi but wants to pretend like he's the one betraying her whenever the fancy strikes her.....lol...... But doesn't seem like the writers care anymore as long as they can keep their disjointed nonsense going to prop up Didi. Oh well.

Here I want to put out something. Like I mentioned in another post of mine, Imlie has not reached that point in the relationship that Adi has already crossed. Reason being that even when compare today's scene with the scene when Adi was jealous of Prakash, we can see that Adi's feelings and involvement is much deeper than Imlies. For Imlie that connect is there but it has not yet developed into a full fledged two way rishta. Adi is ready for it because he has understood that she is the one for him, but I don't think she has reached that point yet. That is why it is easier for her to say today that let Malini's place be intact, I will create my own space in your life. Jab unka rishta becomes that 2 way street, that is when this care for Malini will matter to Imlie, especially when it will come to a point when it affects her relationship with Adi. Till then Imlie will be this clueless on the effects this gehri dosti of AM will actually have on her relationship with Adi.

This is exactly what bothered me in this episode. Usually Adi's character is the one who is consistent and actually remembers what he said and what Imlie says when she conviniently forgets. But today he forgot his own dialogue when AM fought and Imlie did not go to college because of that. It became apparent a while back that they will never have the guts to address the incompatibility issues between AM......Adi himself has only reflected to the extent that he realized he was never in love with Malini.....but he hasn't ever reflected on their other many incompatibilities.

So they are indeed going with the stance of showing that the AM divorce is happening cuz Adi realized he's in love with Imlie and accepted his marriage to her which happened first so he can no longer give Malini what she wants.

The dialogues today were very poorly written and executed but I guess what Adi was trying to say to Malini is that he didn't want her image to get tarnished over this breakup and he wanted to take full ownership himself by revealing the truth about his marriage with Imlie. Instead, the dialogue they gave him about all this happening cuz of his rishta with Imlie made it sound like he considers himself and Imlie to be the real cause of the divorce.....which just sounded odd coming from a guy who's been all about wanting to get respect for his and Imlie's rishta.

I definitely felt disconnected from Adi today.....but I guess the writers think that no one will care since aage Adi-Imlie ka woh dance wala lollipop daal denge and everyone will go back to fixating on that😆

My reaction for the epi 🤣🤔🤪🥱.

I can't with the writers need to whitewash Didi & prop her up. They just want to give a clean cheat to Didi & show her as tyaag ki Devi as if Adi-Malini marriage disintegrated because of Imlie only. I am feeling so pissed off.

Imlie is trying to convince one & all that Didi is lying. Why is she trying to prove that Didi only loves Adi? What difference should it make to her even if she does except for feeling bad for hurting her? Does she not want to be with Adi at all?

Why is she Ok if Adi-Malini have a deep friendship even after they get separated? Isn't she already insecure about it. Being mature about ex is one thing but saying you are Ok with an ex who she is sure still loves her guy is stupidity to infinity level. Imlie should never be Ok with a deep friendship between Adi-Malini. I as a woman would not be OK with this. This is not some American sitcom where everyone dates everyone's ex & still remains friends forever. These are just shallow things in those sitcoms. Imlie is a more complex story.

Adi was doing well in the 1st part of convo with Didi that she should have 1st let them meet KC & then they could have broken the news of divorce together. But him taking the entire blame for the divorce is asinine. Does he believe that he is only getting divorced with Malini because he lied about being married to Imlie & now has fallen for her? What about the basic incompatibilities between him & Malini? What about all those crass behaviour that she has displayed? I cannot understand this.

Maybe he wanted his own marriage truth with Imlie to be revealed to his family as well so that he can be with Imlie sooner. But why take all the blame as if Didi was not at fault. Why not accept that they were not compatible as lifepartners?

Also what is with this sudden understanding development between Adi-Malini? They never had an understanding or even basic friendship that is why they had issues in their marriage. Writers have shown it so clearly to the audience. But now suddenly they have so much understanding about each other.

I believe that writers are compromising on Adi, Imlie as individuals & also their relationship just to prop up Didi & to keep her involved in their life. The way things were between Adi-Malini, they can only have a cordial aquaintances wala relationship after divorce realistically. But they want Didi to cause problems between Adi-Imlie even after divorce so this sudden friendship between Adi-Malini & Adi taking full blame for their divorce just pushing all if Didi's faults under the carpet. I am not happy with the way the writers are taking the story forward.

Also lol at Imlie being shipped with KC😆. I can never understand the fandoms need to ship the FL with any male that enters the show🤪. Even though FL may be in love with ML. This is a never ending problem across all serials I guess.

Exactly. Adi ke character sketch ki dhajiya uda di in writers ne aaj. Matlab kyun, itna sahi to jaa rahe the, atleast with his arc, why mess it up like this just to show guilt. I am so mad right now I really want to😡. And I never get so mad in ITV, coz I know their capabilities, but this just pushed me over the edge.

I don't think Aditya will ever put his relationship with Malini over imlie. He will think Imlie will understand whatever he is doing. He thinks he gets jealous of Imlie's bond with Pari but Imlie is not bothered by his bond with Malini. His love for Imlie is greater than her love for him and he is okay with that.

Imlie never shows him the full extent of her feelings. She is a confused soul. She says one thing, thinks another and does something else altogether 😆.

I think writers are sowing seeds for future conflicts.

Totally with you on Malini sucking life out. And Adi-imlie will let her, as they feel they wronged her.

LOL ok chalo I'll buy it for argument's sake....what exactly makes you think Imlie will EVER reach that point then? Malini ain't going anywhere and will ALWAYS be hanging over their relationship.....Adi has already said and done pretty much everything he can to assure Imlie of his feelings for her.....Imlie has already acknowledged to her family that she loves Adi and he is her "sab kuch"😆.....so do tell me what new point is left for her to reach to feel "involved"? 😆

This is just Imlie's escapism at work....if she needs AM's relationship to be officially dissolved to suddenly develop "deep feelings" for Adi😆, then their relationship is going to be hollow long term.....this otherwise long journey of so many things they shared - life and death experiences, understanding, faith....all of it is moot for Imlie?

Your example would hold up if the other person in this equation was not Malini......Adi's issues with Prakash are very different from the issues regarding Malini and Imlie.....and I think it's very twisted to first claim faith and confidence in someone and then claim insecurities later....if that's the Imlie they are going for, I'm deffo going to feel disconnected.

But the point in bold is true as long as Maline is made the queen all else can go to 😈 these writers I tell you have me so 🤓 at times.

True she can keep him in limbo and with it her care free attitude also makes her look naive and somewhat hollow for I tell you we bordered no longer know what she wants then what is Aditya to do.

I feel he wants her to react feel what he feels even if it’s triggered through such events. It just reminds me when he went to the college and said why do you place our relationship at the bottom of all else. It said it all then..😒

This is why I hope they allow imlie to explore her feelings and why it’s no longer okay to say or do certain things. I still feel she had not understood the depth of her emotions.

I just want to go inside the screen, shake Imlie & ask her what she actually wants in her life. If she wants to be alone & not be in a relationship with Adi, then just freaking open your mouth & tell it to him. He has asked you that question quite a few times. Also he is going to ask it once again.

So please Imlie take a stand & stick to it. Don't think about what will be good for others & just say what you actually want to happen. If you don't want to be with Adi due to all the baggage that comes with him then say no. If you love him & want to be with him then say so & actually do things to make your relationship work. You are not going to be able to please everyone & why do you your self want to be unhappy is beyond me. Maybe I am just a bad selfish person but I cannot stand people who self sabotage their own happiness when there is no need.

Imlie is my main connect to this show & if she is only not going to be clear with what she wants then how am I supposed to support her? There wa one character Adi who was kept consistent in his stand. Today he was also conveniently messed up to prop Didi.
