But honestly it makes no sense..

In love you can’t see the person with someone else.. I like how Gul did in IPKKND, how Arnav feels when he hugs Lavanya and looks at Khushi.. trying to understand his feelings.. Khushi gets teary eyed but isn’t sure why.. how he feels when he finds she’s engaged and drops the ring and looks visibly shaken.

Here we just have a poolside conversation where he’s just looking for answers and inevitably making it all about himself.. “ MAIN tumhe MAAF kardinga” and he doesn’t feel anything when she’s almost married to another guy.

Arnav was a giver...except for the scene where he threw Khushi from 1st floor,

I don’t want Ishqaan now . He is not man enough to be worthy for Ishqi . Anyways one thing is clear . He is madly in love with Ishqi . He can’t see beyond her . And after the truth revelation even if it’s partial Ahaan will be in turmoil bcause Ishqi didn’t call off marriage bcause of him but due to Mayanks creepy behaviour. Ishqi saved him from Mayanks attack also . So now Ahaan is left with no option other than to take a flower and go to the terrace and should play while walking thru the edges telling’ She loves me, she loves me not ‘ game bcause as far as we have seen his behaviour this scenario will suit him more . He has got all the characters of an obsessive lover a liitle more polish from daadi can make him even an abuser. He is already verbally abusing her . Ahaan needs a character makeover and only Savitri can give him that. Ishqi can but this is not her headache so just spare her from another round of torture.

By the way in the last scene did u see he was begging her to speak up, he is broken. He was badly in need of an emotional hug from her . How contradictory. She is the one who lost everything and has been tortured like hell but still she could hold herself but Ahaan after being having everything even his sanskaars couldn’t hold himself before her and he needed support from her so held her close and tight. He was missing this ( not touching even seeing her) for six months and when he saw a completely changed Ishqi he got frightened with himself . Her silence and indifference is breaking him. He knows only truth can give her the power but doesn’t want to believe it and he lacks the same truth tats y suffering mentally .

You analyzed it so well, and I couldn't agree more. In bold, yes, I want Ishqi to say that for sure.

I actually felt sorry for Ahaan today - he has become the society he hated so much, all thanks to his Dadi. And that realization is coming soon from the looks of it. His world will go in a downward spiral as he will be hit by one reality after another. For now, as you mentioned, Mayank's partial truth is enough. Then I want Mausa-ji truth so he drowns further in his guilt. Ishqi on the other hand, despite being broken, still has her spine and dignity intact - she is resilient and Ahaan is not. And yes, I sensed the torture, the turmoil and panic even in him today. Basically it proved how much his childhood and upbringing has traumatized him, and unbeknownst to him or her, Ishqi became the only light in his life.

I was thinking about the Savitri track. Initially I thought Savitri might be the one who will somehow be the support in Ishqi's life just like Ishqi had given her that strength earlier so she could even go in front of Dadi. I wouldn't mind for this to happen ... we know she is not dead and that she holds the key to bringing her children back to somewhat normal. If you think about it, had it not been for Ishqi she wouldn't have had the courage to at least stand on her feet and think about fighting back for her rights.

Finally I can start watching regularly (hopefully) starting next week.

Felt ASR was more well written than Ahaan (less hypocritical too )

Btw ASR itna sanskaari nahi tha uski sister ko agar sasuraal wale kuch boldetha toh unlogonki khair nabi 😆{ She never had any inlaws by the way😎)

He never allowed his daadi to taunt his girlfriend 😆
