Direction and editing of SaiRat scenes

Is it me or the sairat scenes are poorly directed and edited now a days? In past their scenes were shot beautifully whether it is private one or in front of family.. Remember the first hand feeding scene with kaisa yeh rishta hai in bg? Aashirwad scene in front of family? They had close ups, long shots and moving shots in correct proportion and they were edited beautifully too. Similarly holi sequence.

But Now a days that beauty is missing in sairat scenes. Too much close ups and bad camera angles. I felt it last week too.. Today we got a new heart touching song.. but direction was not up to mark for me. If we take screen shots we will get some beautiful pics but as a scene it was a let down.

since the ousting scenes,the cinematography only went downhill.

Actually the show lost its charm when it shifted its location

Location shift can be a small reason but most of the time it's carelessness. 😕 They had outdoor shoot before and it was beautiful too..

Yes. That camera angle from Sai's back was terrible n it looked like Virat held camera instead of hand . N Neil is looking lost these days . His acting is not like before these days. He looked blank in the scene with aish , also today intensity was missing. Hope he'll improve

There was something weird about the scene. At one time I thought Neil was talking to the camera and not Ayesha. Maybe direction issue, Neil and Ayesha's acting was the reason the scene was impactful. It could have been better with better direction and camera shots.

Poocho mat yaar. I was not happy with it when I saw it in the precap first. I then wanted for the actual episode to be aired before judging it.

The proximity which was there in the pulling scene was lost when he was talking to her. It reminds me of the scene where he held her hands and lifted her chin when they looked really close but a little at distance when he was wiping her tears near the pool.

It was looking really intense when she wanted to pull and was trying to get out of his grip but he wasn't willing to let go. The way the camera was on that grip was good. They need to work on their shots to give us the right impact of such intense and romantic scenes.

They need to work on camera angles and direction especially in Sairat's shots. It would have completely lost its charm if not for the actors. I think Neil's jacket was also too big and it blocked the majority of the screen. You are right, it didn't look like Neil was even looking at Sai 🤦‍♀️.

I don't understand why it is happening with Sairat scene again and again? I thought Virat should have been a little closer to Sai. The camera angle was all over the place.

I have scene hand pinning scenes before in ITV but never found the camera shots this weird.

Neil and Ayesha's acting saved the sloppy direction.

@bold exactly what I was thinking too. It is not like we have not seen such scenes before in any other show, why should it be this bad here?

Yes Virat should have been more closer to her, I did think if it has got to show him talking but even in pinning the wall scenes from other shows, they do talk and it would be visible even if they stand close. How can they not see it at all?
