Molkki Episode Discussion Thread #54-Nts Pg 86+107, Epi Upt Pg 141 - Page 11

Reads like a good episode. Will comment on episode after I watch. Still got Thursdays episode to watch before watching Fridays.

So I'm guessing the bridal clothes worn by Sakshi were for flashbacks, as I originally hoped.

Honestly, there couldn't be any real character in this show than Mukhi. I mean, he is neither a "next to god" type of supreme husband, nor a supreme lover. He is just as flawed as a fresh and blood human can be.. and that makes him so genuine! Yes, you may sometimes feel upset with his actions. You may feel agitated at his dilemma. He may sometimes appear to be stupid, weak, unsmart, vulnerable, crazy, unjustifiable, illogical or what not. But you can't just hate him ever!

See, the fact that he is no more in love with Sakshi doesn't make him indifferent to her. Similarly, that he is madly in love with Purvi doesn't also make him 'all goody goody and blind' to purvi. Rather he is somewhere torn between his love, his responsibility and his helplessness in between. I think, at one hand he feels helpless that he is unable to give Purvi her due. On the other hand, he is disappointed with himself for how he fell in love with another girl though he was in love with his beloved wife Sakshi. At one hand, he feels why an amazing girl like Purvi has to come in his life and be his molkki. On the other hand, he feels why Sakshi has to bear all these when she has no fault. He feels that the two women in his life deserve better than him. He held himself responsible for everything. You can feel his disappointment at himself when he just rebuked Manas and later even ignored Purvi. His inner turmoil is just so evident even if we didn't get any proper monologue.

So, you just can't expect that he will leave Sakshi and take back her right as his wife overnight.

VPS is THE most favourite character here. I think I can safely speak for everyone here

He has set the bar so high that we tend to analyse everything he does , sometimes forgetting he is mere mortal too.

Since u all have already discussed about Virs dialogue.

I just wanted to add that when Vir said KK will b his wife n mukhiyani, he meant that she will have that status n power. He knows how much KK is bothered about social status n power. Also in those places, divorce is never an option, n divorced woman r looked down upon if I'm not mistaken. So Vir will never allow that to happen to KK.

He knows she has suffered for 5 yrs n that he n d kids have moved on while she is still stuck back in time. So he will make sure that she gets a chance to recover from this shock n decide for herself.

If u guys remember during d molestation episode.. Vir told KK, a respectable woman like KK would leave her husband if he has done something wrong. Which means KK is not weak n she capable of standing on her own. So whatever Vir said today was just to pacify her. Maybe he knows that after sometime KK might want to leave this relationship.

Coming to Pur.. Vir knows that pur doesn't care about all these status n elite stuff.. She is a simple girl who only wants his love. N he will always love her n protect her from all d evil. Even if KK stays back as his wife he knows that pur will understand d situation n stand by him.. She is his true soulmate.
