That family seen was cringe to me today..the sight of RS clan just ruines the epi for me..up until Vansh confronting ridhima for the diamond I was like ok..but the fact that he was all happy and hum saatg saath hain with his family just ruined it all for me...

But it's not just that. Riddhima is expected to just stand there like a mook darshak to keep the family together and take all the shit is PATRIARCHY written all over it. And she is doing this because that is how she has been conditioned. Pati, pati ka parivaar, tumhara parivaar, badon ki izzat. Ye hi sab ki importance sab se zyada hai, especially for daughters-in-law. This is what women around the world are taught, and especially in the Asian countries where family unity is given much importance than in the Western ones. You think Vansh will tolerate it if tomorrow Riddhima goes and mouths off to dadi for being rude to her? She talks back to everyone but never dadi. Because she is the main person perpetuating this parivaar ki izzat dhong, and Vansh is totally caught up in it.

He should talk about his expectations from her when he is ready to fulfill his duties towards her. Sirf bolne se kuch nhi hoga.

No he won't. Only when she won't be there, like that asli nakli wala drama will his apaar prem for her come out. He uses Riddhima mistakes to push his under the rug. Her actions to justify his. Oh she did this so I can do this now. But atleast you can see Riddhima apologizing and trying to make things right. You don't even get this from his side. Not even a simple acknowledgement.

Absolutely 💯, indirectly this is what is being going on.

But riddhima herself gives this opportunity to vansh, for once why can't she voice out, stand for herself.
