But suddenly they wanted to satisfy some people and in the process ended in such a mess. Trps aren't growing because they lost original viewers of the show with this turn.

Ab agar hum unki story dikhayenge, to are we propagating a successful child marriage? No. Aise bohot saare examples hai of the pre-Independence India where child brides have progressive husbands. Ani-Bon's story could have been one of them.

I think regional shows have much more capacity and strength to deal with such kind of topics sensitively. ITV makers start with much enthusiasm but that lasts only for 6 months at max.

fortunately or unfortunately this is not a biopic, so the story might take forms and the label would be creative freedom..

And we cannot question it because its not distorting a historical icon..but distorting our perceptions or our expectations..

Anandi Gopal ki baat ki to.. she had her first labor at the age 14, and the kid couldnot survive.. inspired by that she decided to become doctor.. first female doctor..

matlab dekho jaise humne kahe aye waise koi platonic pure love nahin tha.. it was normal as in the society.. except her husband was so inclined to her education.. This as a biopic is fine.. but agar ye Ani jaise fictional charcter pe impose ki.. to hum kab ka uska antimsanskar ki gayi hoti..

was kadambani Ganguly, a child bride too? I am not sure of this.. heard of her but never read

I am really not sure the progressive husbands actually depicts the progression shown by Ani.. the progression in a way is crafted to suit the itv sketch.. including our much adored bond of Rudhita and placing the family..

kuch toota hai to bas humara expectations.. aur Rudhitha wala love se bhare hue dil..

I am not denying the external influences to change the story nor the business.. but kehna ye hai ki.. we can expect this.. else it must be a limited epi show or a well written book..

itv hai.. idhar udhar ho sakte gai.. par itv hi rahega

And this is a social drama par society ke problems dikhte hee nahi. The other women of the society - widowed, chodi-huyi, girls not going to school - these could have been shown. Ani jab vapas aya tha tab sab hee cheezein dekha tha usne - saare ill practices. Desh badalne aaya tha sirf Bon ki zindagi nahi. To if makers showed a bit of actual 'social drama' with good execution, I think trps would have increased cause it does actually. 😔

Mujhe nahi lagta antimsanskar kar dete hum Faja 🤪 kyunki tab vo RTM 21 ke waqt hee hojata. The way people accepted RTM 21 was incredible. Baat vo nahi hai. Me nahi keh rahi ke exact vaise dikha do. Ya phir koi realization bhi lao. No need of anything. But only thing was if they have started with some story, they should have sticked to it. Firstly no problems with the marriage would have been there as it was a periodic show. And if many people would have raised their voices against this show, then they could have resorted to this path. But nothing like these happened and instead more and more people loved this show, accepted the story and Rudhita.

They were wary of whether people would have accepted Rudhita and this story, hence the initial episodes were much of a mentor-mentee track. But then they experimented (or I should say took a risk) with a platonic husband-wife relationship to see if audience loved it and it did wonders. People did love it.

Problems ho sakte the, par nahi huye. It was a luck for them and could have used it to their own benefit.

Par jaise tumne kaha, ITV hai. Kuch bhi ho sakta hai. They are famous for not sticking to their storylines. 👍🏼

Episodes are very good no doubt. Roopa is brilliant Kaka-Thakuma's tashan is fire too. And comic scenes are also there. But there is a bit of boring-ness. Ek dhamaka promo dena chahiye Mangu ko. Ekdam sarr ghum jayega aisa vala. Nahi to trp nahi badhegi. Aur uska dosh ye log choti Bon ko denge aur leap le ayenge. Kya mazak hai 😵
