BB alag tha... and its time period. but even during the launch there were comparisons with BV.. so now with official BV2.. difference has to be shown...

Ye log ek show ko aur uske concept ko handle nahi kar paaye. Story tha kaise ek husband uss zamane mei apni wife ko barrister banate hai after much struggles. Anandi Gopal Joshi was married at the age of 9 to a man who was quite older than her. Yet he was obsessed with his wife's education and wanted her to earn her own identity. Same with Kadambini Ganguly. If we want to show Kadambini or Anandi Bai's story we have to show their marriage. It doesn't mean we are endorsing child marriage. It's just a part of the story, not the whole story.

They should have shown it in a way which wouldn't propagate child marriage and yet allowed them to say the story. Which they were doing fine till menstruation track. But suddenly they wanted to satisfy some people and in the process ended in such a mess. Trps aren't growing because they lost original viewers of the show with this turn.

Ab agar hum unki story dikhayenge, to are we propagating a successful child marriage? No. Aise bohot saare examples hai of the pre-Independence India where child brides have progressive husbands. Ani-Bon's story could have been one of them.

I think regional shows have much more capacity and strength to deal with such kind of topics sensitively. ITV makers start with much enthusiasm but that lasts only for 6 months at max.

I have accepted leap and Don't even feel bad.... Jab Rangu ko hi kuch padi nahi hai hume kya😑and iam sure by weekend they will anounce as told by aurra's Dad.....max to max I will watch for a week by that one can get a clarity of the concept ....if the quality and concept is good like no unnecessary romance inserted in between and they retain the original concept then okay otherwise I will take my voot subscription back and say bye bye to both Rangu and voot and go back to sitara😏

its the other side of the coin...

Hame to pasand tha Sampoo ki dowry track. Aur sacch baat bataiye to jinn logon ko pasand nahi bhi tha, they had a reason. Kyunki Sampoo did wrong to Bon. And Saurabh too. But after HM people loved Saurabh and even accepted Sampoo-Saurabh's jodi. So it would have been nice if they dealt with their issues through AniDita.

And this is a social drama par society ke problems dikhte hee nahi. The other women of the society - widowed, chodi-huyi, girls not going to school - these could have been shown. Ani jab vapas aya tha tab sab hee cheezein dekha tha usne - saare ill practices. Desh badalne aaya tha sirf Bon ki zindagi nahi. To if makers showed a bit of actual 'social drama' with good execution, I think trps would have increased cause it does actually. 😔
