She judged 2 seasons I guess. If she was not ok why did she do that? She should have rejected after 1 or 2 episodes. I have huge respect for these great singers but the way they can do anything for money I can't understand. Why did she tell this after 10 years?

We don’t know when she was told she needed to start only praising them. Maybe they told her at the start, maybe they told her later on. Perhaps she initially thought she could deal with their conditions but later on realized she couldn’t and left. She is also surely bound by some contract as a permanent judge and can’t just immediately leave. Many potentially valid reasons why.

Also, she only spoke about this now because she was asked about it during a normal interview (like many others) since this is a highly publicized controversy. She isn’t a dramebaazi like Amit Kumar to start things out of nowhere and unnecessarily insult contestants. She was asked a question and responded to the best of her knowledge, no point in blaming her.

Amit Kumar is not a dramebaaz, nor did he start things from nowhere. He was also asked specific Qs after the social media backlash to which he replied.

But, yes, I agree to the view that he could’ve & shouldve stopped the besur singing by the judges. The channel must’ve asked him to praise all the contestants which he did. Coming out & speaking about it need not create a controversy. Everybody knows everything is scripted. The guests are made to enact, which is so obvious. Who in their right minds will come to the sets as a guest with bhoplas? 🤣🤣( Rekha ….😂)

Amitji had a responsibility to tone down the Ott drama,without dragging these kids into the controversy.
(ARR was criticised for not being more vocal. But that’s his persona, he never goes overboard,which means you can lay down ground rules to some extent. )
The makers also need not whitewash Amitji’s words with sarcasm

All said and done Sony TV has upper hand against all criticism now. Their TRP is just going up like anything week after week which means audience don't bother about the nonsense going in the social media. Not sure what Sony lost because of Amit ji revelation but he lost one source of big money because every year he used to come on II. Now even other reality shows will think twice inviting him as guest.

Not sure why he did this to himself.
