Yeah and bb is popular see story line popularity and power couple and even bb is popular due to its storyline

Colors does not promote current recall which is wonders

It should be a perfect balance between family drama, social drama (which should be more as this is based on it) and some comedy or tragedy. I think they should hire some Bengali writers. First because they have completely messed up with the history of Bengal, right from the Gandhiji track. Still as an ITV drama it could be ignored. What became problematic was the forcing of the marriage annulment by the Brahmo Samaj. I saw people on Twitter bashing those members of Brahmo Samaj obviously because they were shown in a negative light. BS could never force an existing child marriage to get annulled keeping in mind the varied consequences in those era. They were very much progressive and empathetic people. Also the reason of annulling the marriage is simply illogical. The very reason due to which Ani married Bon still exists - yet dissolving the marriage and keeping her away makes no sense

Plus point here will be that they themselves will know about the history of their culture more appropriately. We have some periodic dramas here that are going for almost 5 years because of excellent trp and almost accurate description of the 1920's era. Kadambini Ganguly - a show about one of the first women doctors of India is there which is very nicely portraying all the hardships faces by her and her husband (the story is almost same as her husband strives to make her the doctor and he was her professor too). No illogical drama or meaningless 2020 situations created. Also showing how well she managed both her profession and family along with the help of her husband who too was like Ani (old BB was like this).

Actually, periodic dramas gain a lot of trp if presented properly. But they are creating a 21st century setup sometimes and 1920s century setup sometimes.

Also Bengali writers are doing a tremendous job in Sitara shows 🤪, all of Sitara's hit shows are the exact copy paste of Bengali serials, so it will be beneficial if they now keep Bengali writers. 🤪

Par itna gyaan Mangu and writers won't take because of reasons only they know. And will bring leap for trps, spend for a new FL and a new cast but won't make changes in the existing problems. 😵

Can not agree more... Even i don't like how they portrayed brahmo samaj.. this society has contributed so much for social revolution n see... Annulment demand cannot be come from them.. it would have been appropriate if villagers gusse me bolate etana hai to khud ki patni ko chhodo..Brahmo samaj ne to actually guide karana chahiye tha Rudhita ko ke how to do janjagruti..

Even in my regional language Marathi, we had beautiful serial on this concept.. it touched menstruation, consummation of marriage that too almost 10 years ago...It was based on the real life couple of pre independence era.. so was less dramatic..N they did good research on the couple for the series..Last to last even we had movie on Anandi n Gopal Joshi.. making of India's first lady doctor (again real life)...

In that serial they took leap within few months...Here as it is not based on real life couple they have soooo much liberty.... They should have used it beautifully... To some extent they used it..But with ZBKP they ruined everything
