Making rotis is a very tedious and boring process. So I was looking at reducing the time I spent making them. Roti maker sounded like the perfect solution. But all the products I looked up on Amazon have negative reviews.

Do any of you all use it? Please suggest a good brand to buy from. Please only speak from experience.

Sorry man made ones are faltoo only the God made ones work well and make exceptional rotis. So if you are not yet married, a good option is to look for a guy/girl who is good at making rotis. They can make rotis, you can make rupees/dollars. 😆

One option is to use a stand mixer to prepare the dough. You just load in atta, water + any optional additives like oil, salt, and run it for like 5 mins.

So half the job is done.

We eat a lot of rotis and I find this really convenient (my job is to make the dough but unfortunately my wife still has to make the rotis, since mine can give nightmares 😆).

For further help you can use a tortilla maker to press them. I haven't tried these though.

I personally think good roti makers WILL emerge later, but our generation would be late to the party

Making roti is still fine. It's very difficult to make a dough. So Kitchen Aid mixer Artisan 4.5 Quartz is quite good to use.

Rotimatic. You will have to sell you kidneys to buy it though.

I only buy ready-made tortillas from the store since I long gave up on making roti on my own 😆.

Buy any local brand from local shop. None of them give desired result anyways. That whole fluffy roti coming out of it is just a marketing gimmick, doesn't work even on big brands. Atleast local ones are cheaper and makes okayish rotis. It all depends on the kind of dough you make honestly than the roti maker. It needs to be very soft and not tight like usual roti.

Another option would be this. Economical than take out.
