In some of the Indian Police services, Rank starts from ACP.

Kuesting as I have zero knowledge about Indian Police system I wanted to know a few things.

1. How does the ranking work in IPS ? I searched on Google and Google Ram confused me more than helping me. 😳
2. What is the highest rank and the lowest rank ? 🤔
   
   
3. Does anyone know the entire Indian Police ranking ? 🤔
4. How many years does it take to become an ACP like Virat ? What is the approx age when one becomes an ACP ? 26 years old or 27 ? I mean in general not just Virat. 🤔

I have same questions about Sai :

1. How many years of college and how many years of internship ? 🤔
2. How many years before you are finally a qualified doctor ? Here in my country it takes between 9 to 11 years to get the diploma and become a doctor. 6 years in college and 3 to 5 years as intern. So by the time you become a doctor you are around 27-30 years old. 🤓

1. Acp is first position. Inspector general of police is the biggest one. I guess.

2. My friend took another 4 years to do md in gynecology which included 1 year of rigorous preparation

3. My friend took another 4 years to do specializations and now she owns a hospital. She is 36.
