That's true but that can happen. Daadi is very cunning and she knows how to manipulate. She has influenced him enough to brainwash and think like her. He considers her like a mother as he is an orphan. No kid thinks that a parental figure can deceive or hurt them like that. He is emotionally not evolved though and isn't perceptive enough - he has wrong idea about almost everyone he knows. Also, he has lived a sheltered life.

I also think Ishqi's Maasi's domestic abuse is there for a reason - to make him realise what life can be for a battered woman and its alright if she wants to move on and live her life. Ishqi also doesn't come from a privileged family like Ahaan's, so she is definitely more street smart. She can't be docile and timid like Sonu or the world won't let her survive. She has to be practical in life.

Exactly. And that's why I loved this show. They have all these key elements placed in two lead's life. They are product of their circumstances which make them have different ideologies. And when they get to know each other, there will be growth in their characters. I really hope after this MU, they move to the real story of clashes in ideologies and the lessons they learn together.

That's childish in itself, and if they truly care about Ahaan - they wouldn't let her get away with it.

They may be good natured but clearly, someone with a conscience or someone who loved Ahaan and sonu like their own children would care more. Sonu's mother should have been invited on her daughter's wedding.. she should have been there in all the functions.. but what do these selfish people do?

They have literally knowingly let Sonu and Ahaan live like orphans when their mother was alive. That's the worst thing that you could do to someone. Marriage for a girl is the most important day of her life and of course she would miss/ want her mom. Daadi throwing away pictures and them holding barsi was heartbreaking.

I agree. Lockdown certainly put some restrictions on the story but I wish writers could come up with more creative ways. Ishqi could have easily been doing a manager job so no one can humiliate her like this. Ahaan could show less hate/no renege but just normal disappointment in her.

Now I wish they could have dragged pre wedding episodes more like have haldi for 3-4 episodes. Show bonding of Kartik-Ishqi, bachelors party, youngsters playing truth-dare, more Ishqaan scene. 22 min ka to hota hai ek episode. They could have shown so much before wedding agar dragging hi chahiye that to.

I agree. I wanted the misunderstanding to end on Friday's episode. It was all great till then. I think police arrest and Ishqi at Ahaan's feet post leap is something bothering me a lot. I guess they are on track for clearing MU that is why we have leap. This is also a Sony show which doesn't drag tracks like SP.
