And it's also cemented the fact in him, that he is surrounded by these trashy girls willing to throw themselves at his feet for his money. He knows it, and he sneers at it, kind of. As for his shyness with Pallavi, it's because he never sees her the way he sees those other girls. From day one, she's been proving to him how different she is. She doesn't try to butter him up, she stands up to him. She doesn't try to gain favours from him, instead she looks down on him for abusing his powers. She's bold and he loves that, but he also loves that she's genuine, hardworking and dedicated to her ethics. He has a different kind of respect for her, which is why the intimacy of the safety pin scene overwhelmed him so much... he backed out to give her privacy. In fact, he has always respected her space (which is something I love about him as an ML)... the one time he pulled her to himself, he made sure to rectify that mistake immediately. Now that he's started caring about her, this cautiousness will only increase. Every moment with Pallavi will affect him now, and we will see more and more of this shy, overwhelmed Raghav 😳

Imo it's not a display of inexperience.. instead it's because of his experience that he knows she's different, and therefore feels differently around her 😳❤️

Aap ne to mere dil ki baat keh di, especially the part in bold. I agree his shyness is because what he feels with her is new and different. It's unique and he knows it and is going to be walking on eggshells in this matter. This is why I keep saying that I see Pallavi make the first move because he'll hesitate too much.

I too love that he gives her her space, whereas she doesn't. The taunt about her crossing the border was spot on, because she's been doing that from day 1, going to his house whenever, barging into his pop-up event, taking the handkerchief out of his pocket and then stuffing it back in, etc.

Also, he loves his mother and Pallavi is in many ways just like Amma. Now that he's getting to know her more, he realizes she also has the anger/temper that seems to run in the Rao family, so a great fit overall.

@bold: I think it was more to show Pallavi's position in our so called society. She was widowed on her wedding day, the trauma is big no matter how much we brush it away. Plus that comes with the taunt of being Apshagun, Pati ko kha gayi things. Aai and VD protected her from those taunts of the society when it was convenient for them to join society and blame her. But they did the right thing and hence she places them as most important people of her life. If it was few months after wedding that particular effect would have gone. However, it would be nice if they show/imply some small intimate moments were present between her and Mandar, maybe like they are showing between Sunny and Kirti

I also think it's to show her devotion to the family even though she never really had much time being a married woman per se.
