Saba has never really written a nuanced character for Vir. It is us who have given that depth and strength. Just think back - in times of any crisis how has Vir reacted? Every time, when faced with a situation which has tested him, has Vir ever behaved satisfactorily? Sudha's case, Sakshi's jewellery kaand, kidnapping of the children, Priyu's rape, Karan's video...tell me one time when Vir has acted sensibly? Yes, no doubt that he has always done the right thing later but it is always after proof.

He has never shown the sort of insight we expect from him. OUR Vir is strong, sensible, insightful...but not Saba's Vir. And we are trying to shove our Vir down her throat and then feel bad that he is not living up to our expectations

It is US. We have made him into WHAT we want to see. We do not believe he is NOT really that, atleast not completely.

Saba has definitely given VPS the bare minimum thought.

You are right - it's always the reaction from him. Right reaction after the shor in teh beginning.

Kabhi proactively usne koi crisis divert nahin kiya hai.

My expectations are 0 going forward.

Yiu have no idea how liberated I am feeling once i realised this. I still love Vir - but i love my Vir. I will no longer feel depressed of Saba's Vir does not match up to my expectations.

I hope I can continue this state of mind so that I can just enjoy each episode as it comes and not get emotionally invested

Managing expectations and letting go can be the keys to happiness and peace. You know what they say " Expectations are premeditated resentments"

I have been thinking along the same lines too😆. Letting go is not easy though.

Going to go in with 0 expectations and set the bar at the bottom. EVERYTHING will be a bonus then!

What u have written makes sense.. It was d way we perceived Vir to be. The character analysis that we had come up with after watching Amar's portrayal of Vir.. Some u guys had even looked into d details n u always give a beautiful take on d episode. I dont think saba even bothered about those. Amar must have added some nuances in expressions to show the layered character n muzzu's direction in certain scenes had showed Vir to be larger than life..

Looks like d writing didnt have d layers that it should have had.. d layers was created thru d actor's portrayal n d directors way of bringing it on screen..

Saba wrote him a just a bit better than your average ML...Amar's performance enhances the characterization, aur hum log toh pyar mein itna pagal ho gaye ki usse sar par hi bitha liya🤣

Letting it very difficult indeed, Shree! It has not come easy at all. Only the fact that such a horrible track is playing out in the show is making me manage it better! Kya pata, kal phir Saba achcha sa romance likhe aur main phir fisal jaoon😆

But at least I know that I will never get so disappointed again coz at the back of my mind I know that I have my own delusions about how Vir should act😳

So well said Manasi Saba has written Vir like any other ML only.. The thing that made it look extraordinary to us was Amar.. he had brought life into such a character which has always been used for highlighting so called social issues in the show.. Aur Saba ko lagta hai VPS is loved because of her writing 🤣

@underline: Agree.. when there were toxic, confused or perfect ML on ITV, virs character stood out as a matured ML with flaws n we easily connected with him...But now even Vir is walking d path of d typical ITV ML..

Amar was so good as VPS n we couldnt help but praise n analyse d character we loved 😳
