What is going on with the set changes? First the Deshmukhs move into someone else's house, and then the set for that house changes. Then we have Raghav Rao going from a palatial house with plenty of servants, to a smaller house with an open floor plan but larger size rooms, to an apartment with a very large swimming pool.
What's going on here? At least when Raghav downsized for the first time the writers gave us an explanation for the decision for him to move - he was going to live in a house built where his old home used to be. Now the new home is small than MY house and I don't own any jewelry stores. Look, I can understand the decision to get a different set for the Deshmukh household (which has larger bedrooms than the Rao's home) but the decision to downsize Rao's really makes no sense and bewilders the audience. It falls under bad writing and directing and really hurts what is a very entertaining show.
For those who do not think sets are important, I want you to think of the attention paid in the film Titanic, Mughal-E-Azam, The Holiday, Home Alone, Sound of Music where the home or the setting of the film is an essential part of the story.
