He says smugly

Geet giggles

Geet Door kholti hai for Maan to enter

Maan takes off his shirt

Geet’s phone rings

She jumps to take the call

G-Sorry I have to take it

Geet takes up the call eagerly

But her expressions quickly change into disappointment

Geet poore ghar mein ghum ghumke baat kar rhi hai toh Maan ko bass 1-2 words hi sunayi de rahe hain

She looked visibly upset with each passing moment

Even in the verge of breaking into a tear...where her voice faltered while arguing on the phone

Geet phone rakh ke mudti hai toh she finds herself colliding with Maan's broad chest

She can’t help her tears

Saamne Maan ka broad kandha dikha hi toh she buries her face onto his chest

Maan is wondering ki kya hua

Geet aise kabhi asoo toh nahi bahaati hai

He wonders ghar pe sab theek toh hai naa uske

Kuch der baad Geet apne aap chup hoti hai, rubbing her tears off her red face vigorously

Maan is still there

He is waiting patiently for Geet to share what happened

Maan sits beside her, offering her a glass of water

She drinks it up

He gently puts his warm hand on hers to reassure her

G-You know....no...you don’t know about her...there's my friend...she...is also a doctor like me...she is very nice...hardworking...ambitious too

He nods

G-and also very pretty....I mean people say so...so I guess she is modest too....and nice & hardworking...as I said…so something really bad has happened to her...you know

M-Oh. What happened?

He frowns

M-To her

Maan nods in affirmation

G-She worked really really...very hard for that…I know coz she works with me in the ER…she really wanted that…she even went into the lastround...her everything was exceptional

Tears show up again on her eyes

He asks gently wiping her tears, so that she doesn’t roughly mow over her eyes

G-Then ...then...she did everything in her power to do well...and she knew she would get it....but...but…but now results are out and she didn’t get it

She breakdown in tears

G-I worked so hard for it….it was my dream. Maan!

G-He doesn’t deserve it. He was the head doctor's son that's why!

G-I hate this world!

G-All my life ...I looked up to Dr xyz as my idol...het urned out like this

She is sobbing again

He is caressing her hair, holding her firmly yet gently

M- Do you want me to do anything about it?

Geet could suddenly envision a holster being unbuckled and gun slowly getting drawn

She lifts her head off his chest to look at him

G-What will you do?

This girl is a piece of work. Her mood swings are next level. I dont know if she trying to beat Maan up or wants to kiss him. Anyways love the transition from my friend is a doctor oh no I am that doctor. LMAO love how she sees Maan using his gun to set the doctor straight. Iska dhimak ulta hi chalta hai so my expectations are low :D
