This entire thread echoes my feelings. I have been saying Anokhi needs to know about his love they way he fought for her the way he went to see her despite being hurt and lots of other stuff. Actually they both need to know what happened behind their backs.

Anokhi needs to know how he fought for her even before knowing her feelings. She still doesn’t know the intensity of his love for her.

And Shaurya also needs to know how much humiliation she faced in the hands of his BM for his sake. His blinders regarding BM need to come off.

Also, like you said Anokhi has a habit of saying her bit and walking away n blocking him. She doesn’t listen to him, until he does something dramatic. She also needs to cut him some slack.

Anokhi's decision to go back to Kapur thallah

When she decided to go back to Kapoor thalla ,Shaurya tried everything to convince her ,he admitted his mistake ,used reverse psycology techniques ,fought for her with his own family and the managements team,

went to meet her at Shan's appartment to convince her to stay, but none of all efforts could change his decision to go back to kapur thalla.

Here he got to know she does not care about loss she is going to bear when she decides on something.

Hence he tried everything to stop her from leaving Chandigarh ,after a chain of failed attempts he had to kidnap her to make her understand she sould not go also apologized to her.

Anokhi only changed the decision after she got what she wanted from Shaurya ..A HEART FELT APOLOGY.

Before that all efforts of Shauya went in vain.

After he fought with Acp in resturant ,he knew inside he has pissed Anokhi off ,so he tried to explain his behaviour but Anokhi was not convinced ,she said i dont want to talk to you i have to talk to you ,i am going to talk to my sister,she turned her back towards him ...he kept standing there waiting for her to give him another chance to explain himself.she did not so he did not force her to listen to him instead he left from there and landed in hostel room so that they could continue with their discussion.

Shaurya's confession

In Confession episode he kept trying to make her believe that he loves her ,since Anokhi did not listen to him.He told her

Main tum se pyar krta hoon ,agar tum iski respect nahi krti toh yeh tumhari problem hai ..ab tum mere paas tabhi ana jb tumhare pas meri baat ka jawab ho ..

To all his efforts of convincing Anokhi,she replied with this

Aap ne bhi koi challenge le rakha hai ke mujhe mana kr choren ge or phir san logon ke saamne mera dil toota dekh kr hansen ge..

He did let Anokhi to decide and left from there..

By this time he had known ,there is no point arguing or making Anokhi believe on his truth.He should better leave. More he argues more she will adamant on her decision.

God ,this girl has got iron nerves ...Writting all this with references .Cuz enough has beed said about what led Shaurya to take the extreme decision of smearing vermillion in her hairline .That day too he did what ever he could .But Anokhi was not ready to listen to him.

Purpose of writting is just to explain what i think lead Shaurya to take this step.I am not tring to defend him .

Also the question of forcing her for anything,Shaurya knows she is not gonna listen to him and he inside has accepted it and best thing is Anokhi has made it clear how important career is for her.I think he will not force her cuz after istening to all what she she said ,he went on with sindhur act means he wats her to be with him they both work it out together.

But one thing Wama, the whole dynamics of his relationship with Anokhi is polar opposite of that he had with Shagun. His relationship with Shagun was more or less an arrangement between two families of same class and like mindedness. There it was about bringing a girl who will fit his family’s mound and please hi BM. That relationship was not built on love ever, no matter what Shaurya thinks, he never loved her, nor did she.

(Anokhi right now is too blurred in the mind with the words of Shagun and Babli, that she is not trying to look beyond that vision and see that Shaurya has always supported her education, he won’t ask her to compromise on it.) All this is my opinion based on how they have showed Shaurya so far, rest is upto the writers, I am keeping my faith in them.

Also one thing me n IFLove were discussing is that, his soch does not so much stem from misogyny, as it does from his abandonment issues. Once his insecurity regarding abandonment is understood by Anokhi and it is addressed I think he will be her biggest champion, who will cheer for her achievements. He just needs to make her believe that with action, rather than words. Coz Anokhi is not someone who will be moved by words.

Also they both need to share and talk about their past and it’s baggage’s. Only then they will be able to fully understand each other’s insecurities and work things out from there.

That time he only thought about his family here he is thinking about her as well and yes i always say that his misogyny is not because he was brought up in a patriarchal household but because of his insecurities thats why it is only for his woman not for all the woman. He wants that attention which he never got.

But i believe that he needs to choose sides now rather than trying to balance things in between bm and anokhi. Which he ll eventually do and anokhi needs to listen jo ab wo seekh jayegi and yes her eyes are clouded by babli shagun's words and also her past experiences where soch never changed.

Do you guys think that such intense all consuming love like Shaurya has, exits in real life or it is just a by product of fantasy and fiction.

And I am not even talking about fighting with your family for your love. That’s a different and even bigger topic all together.

Also slowly he might understand his family is not worth picking. He will never cut them off, he is too loyal for that. But he won’t let Anokhi down or let her be humiliated.

N yeah. I understand Anokhi’s fear n apprehensions too. She has had examples like her father n Vineet. So her fears are not unreasonable. Both have to find a way to understand each other’s fears n work with them.

Yes! He always goes behind her. Tries his maximum to explain to her, but at the point when she still doesn’t reciprocate, he says his bit and leaves it to her. N she always comes back to him.

He has never forced her to do anything.

He won’t force her for this relationship too. Hers act was to let her know that he is hers, they are in this together. They will work it out from there. Coz he won’t ever force her to leave her education.
